His striking style is mainly counter striking and not much else. He sort of fights like Izzy in that he just try's to point from range and only swings big with counters. If his opponent doesn't over commit his fights are usually just boring point scoring contests. I'm not a fan personally but I also didn't like most of Izzy fights either.

I think aljo is the most overhated fighter of all time. I didn't like the yan stuff and when he tried to turn heel online celebrating a dq it was a terrible look. You gotta admit second fight he turned that around and then went on to tie cruz in defenses which is impressive. He even beat cory easily despite tons of people calling him a dark horse. You can tell people really hate him when the ufc is actually hoeing him constantly. They really have a former champ with tons of title defenses fighting on the prelims over bo fucking nickel being on the main card.
