Agree. You can rename Dai Viet to Viet Nam with one of the missions but it would be neat if instead of the name change it would be a new formable with more missions and perhaps upgraded ideas. Glad you liked the video ❤️

Not forgotten by me :P Since I tried Dai Viet I play it very often, it is my main nation atm. , I'm not forced to be confucian to be emperor like Qing/Ming and I don't have to be a horde, and I don't have to deal with Mings instability. I play always with Vajrayana, it sucks to not have that many missionaries when you conquer Ming, but before you start the war with Ming you will always already had a war with Ava, if you vassalize them and annex them you get 1 more missionary from their monument, and you can political vassalize Tsang if your border is close enough, if you annex them it gives you also 1 more missionary for holding Lhasa (the reduced missionary cost from the monument there is also a nice addition). If you did this you can convert Ming very fast. Vajrayana isn't really a exciting religion, but it is a stable one, you don't have to deal with much bullshit, you are nearly always at 5% discipline and 2 reputation with enoug monuments, and you can free nations without diplomatic mana costs which can be very handy when you have to tear down big nations or when dealing with AE.

I’ve played them once. I did a dai viet into Siam with emperor of china. I think I ended up with all of indo china, all of china, all of Japan and all of Malaysia. With a colony in Australia. It was fun. This makes me wanna do it again. Another great video broski.

Hey Golem, just an idea for a campaign that could be unique/fun. With Merc and Influence ideas you can make Client States super early into the game. It would be neat to see how much one could expand with them given the right liberty desire modifiers.
