Trick for getting a reasonable price for Edgar: buy the oversized nonsense version, then have a proxy of him as a more practical version. Any LGS who are anti-proxy will change their tune when you show up rocking a Magic card the size of a credit card bill

I run a Sheoldred, the apocalypse Mona black commander deck, and it honestly works really well, so long as you blend the right cards in she does wonders!

So one thing, Sheoldred, the apocalypse rotates out in about a month, so the price will drop drastically, we DO NOT need a reprint, a reprint would only keep the prices slightly lower.

Lol, trying living in Australia: Edgar Markov goes for well over AU$200 (at times the card has been listed for as high as AU$250). Even factoring in the currency exchange rates between USD and AUD that's an insane mark-up. i was originally going to get him for my Mardu Vampire Deck, but i didn't want to have to sell a kidney. Oh well, a girl can always dream....

Ashcoat is not expensive because it’s a commander, it’s because it’s a crazy aura that’s cheaper than the current 5 cost staples, like Coat of Arms/Eldrazi Monument. It’s an auto include no one will buy for Marrow Gnawer.

I know proxies can be a thing, but I really wish that several of the top Slivers weren't so painfully expensive. It's an EDH deck I'd like to build, but the Queen is painful, and I think that bone IS on the reserve list, and Hivelord and Overlord are just expensive because. I do like Rats, and I did want Ashcoat, but haven't grabbed one, yet. This list makes me glad I do have that Edgar Markov. I'm one of those four people who actually really like Eminence, so I grabbed Ur-Dragon and Inalla, and inherited Edgar's deck from a friend, as they left the hobby. Can't imagine buying one now.

Stop enabling Hasbro sucking money from small businesses because your pride won't allow you to print and cut out a piece of paper for free or order a proxy on the internet (which you can full customize btw)
