I have an emerald cut ring with baguettes but a 2.05 carat. I didn't want to get something that looked too massive and get robbed, haha. 2 carat looks pretty big too, and I have chubby small fingers. Plus the price went to getting an E color VVS2 absolutely gorgeous and no visible inclusions no matter how long I stare at it. It would have driven me crazy if it did have visible inclusions.

EmerEmerald cut diamonds are not commonly seen because they have fewer facets and are not as shiny as other traditional cuts, but they better showcase the diamond's inherent qualities. Therefore, I strongly agree that it is a classic and timeless ring.❤❤❤

It's not that they're "less shiny", it's that light behaves differently in the Emerald cut. They flash rather than glitter. This is my favourite cut, closely followed by the Cushion cut.

What's the big difference in getting an emerald cut with a lower table % vs higher? I keep reading to stay within 60-65%. Is anything over 65% to 68% bad?
