Early on, it knocked Koichi out, but he was able to remain conscious after Echoes evolved. Reimi got knocked out by it. Janken kid was knocked out because Boy 2 Man was a weak, hot garbage Stand. Hayato is a special case, because when he turned into a book on Heaven's Door's command, he was knocked out, but when it was fated in the loop, it didn't; I'd chalk that one up more to Bites the Dust than anything.

There are some flaws in Sandler-san's CLICK ability you do not mention. Despite all the abilities it grants him, Sandler-san's own strength is still limited to that of an ordinary human. Yes he could stop time and punch his target 100 times, but that's still just 100 blows from ordinary man. While he could theoretically stack his punches infinitely, in practice it would actually greatly tire Sandler-san out to do this because he would have to spend an enormous amount of time hitting a target to do any noticeable damage if the target is extremely durable. Sandler-san cannot eat or drink during this stopped time because food and water wouldnt reach his stomach and they wouldn’t digest. If he punched the target as hard as possible multiple times, he would eventually begin to hurt his hands because he is not used to fighting. He could begin to use the items in his environment to attack, but those would eventually break. He could acquire more items by looking for more, but that would require him to walk around a lot and thus lose more stamina. Plus, every attack he makes will drain his already limited stamina further. Sandler-san’s theoretical infinite time to attack his enemy is severely limited by his own human needs and weaknesses, such as getting tired. Infinite time doesn’t give him infinite stamina, as he will need to exit stopped time to acquire sustenance

There’s a thing where a lot of fictional characters from other series absolutely thrash most JoJo characters because they simply have more brute force abilities, while the JoJo ones require lots of setup and trickery to even begin to work. But then when you get to the ends of parts and the stands that appear there, they’re suddenly a cut above the rest because time, space and fate manipulation are incredibly powerful, even when contained to only a few “seconds” at a time. I remember having a discussion with someone about JoJo vs Persona. They both have superficially similar power systems, but in a fight, the Personae often have stronger, larger and more versatile abilities than the average stand. Then at the top there’s Giorno who would quite likely obliterate basically every Persona character in less than a minute apart from _maybe_ Yu Narukami.

Something I'd like to add is that determining character stats based on feats pretty much always puts characters with more source materials/different versions/multiple writers at a great advantage since they have greater chances at having extreme feats that greatly increase their maximum potential stats. This is why comic book characters tend to win death battles, even though a lot of modern iterations of these characters are much weaker than their death battle opponents.

Not really as even though you have various writers there is still 1 canon. For example for Superman there's Golden age/Silver age/pre-crisis and post crisis/New 52. While each one has their own version. When we say with Marvel there's universe 616 version which we know as standard spider-man and all those comics. It's all within context, you don't really merge both Spider-verse spider man with Main line spider man because they're different universes. This is also the same with superman as you can't use Silver age with New 52 because they're different super man.

Each superman golden age was from 1938-1955 this is the beginning however the comics was then REBOOTED into the silver age which was 1956-1970 then bronze age 1970-1985. Now it's the modern age from 1985-now which has 2 versions from 1985-2011 and now what's called the New 52 line which is 2011-Now. Let's say you wanted to have superman, what you wanna do is say "Modern age" which is 1985-now which I believe is the strongest second only to the New 52 cause New 52 is just a rebooted New age. However each comic in each era is it's own "Canon".
