Aside from the powerful hardware, I loved the RGB lights under the keyboard and track pad as well as the blue accents along the vents. The design is beautiful 😍 ❤

I'll probably get this, except I'm waiting for the RTX 5000 series first. Still rolling with my Alienware Area 51m (9700k/2080/64GB Ram) I got back in 2019. For now it's still chugging along, playing the games I enjoy without much sweat in 1080p 144hz. Hoping by the time the RTX 5000 series is available, on mobile anyways, to jump up to 4k 120/144 hz. That would be about end game for me. For my use case, I'm a OTR trucker, and spend usually 3-5 weeks on the road, sometimes more. 4k 120hz would be nice for most of the high end, gaming capable 4k TV's on the market when I'm home. On the road, if I wanted, I could easily fit a 27-32" monitor on a VESA mount, or just use the screen on the laptop as is, as I have been the last 5 years.

I tend to agree. I’m ready to buy a new gaming rig. There aren’t any new games coming out that I want to play right now, so I’m good with consoles at the moment. But when that 5090 comes out I’m definitely there!

This laptop is an absolute powerhouse. It has all the top of the line specs, including an 18-inch 4K 120 HZ mini LED display, an Intel Core i9 processor, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU. It's not the most portable laptop, but it's perfect for gamers who want the best possible performance.

Im a creator (heavy video editing and local AI) who also likes to play games on the road. Looking for a new laptop. This seems to cover most bases but it looks a little too "gamer" to bring to a coffee shop or coworking spot. Is there anything like this thats more discreet?

I want to buy this and can afford it except it seems too heavy and clunky for traveling. Anyone have any suggestions on what they would do if they didn't have to worry about money but wanted a top of the line portable gaming laptop?
@ProAvgeek63284 ай бұрын
How is this heavy? It's ONLY 3.6kg as listed by msi. My backpack is 9kg and I ride my bike 8km with the backpack easily.

@@ProAvgeek6328 I got a MSI stealth 16 AI studio a1v. I upgraded the ram to 96gb. I have 8 TB of storage. It's a I9. I got the bloatware removed the thermal paste and heatsink upgraded . I also have a Nvidia rtx 4090 in the laptop. It cost me about 6 grand getting it custom made. It's lighter than my friends Titan and a lot easier to carry around and travel the world with, plus the blue colored finish is awesome . I just need to figure out how to get custom made vinyl wrapping of 100 dollar bills that will fit my laptop shell and keyboard with cutouts for the rgb lights. The titan requires two power outlets. That means two monster power bricks to carry around. No thanks. When I am getting into fancy cars or traveling or doing expensive hobbies I like having my laptop within reach so I can take care of business or work if need be. A titan doesn't fit my lifestyle.

@@ProAvgeek6328 I held my friends MSI titan and it was too bulky for me and it required two charging bricks. I ended up buying a MSI stealth 16 AI studio A1V with a I9 processor. I upgraded the storeage to 8tb. I upgraded the RAM to 96gb, added premium thermal paste and heat sync, and a 4090 nvidia video card. It cost me about 6k. Its compact for travel but has overkill for performance. I like to travel a lot and don't want to carry around a bulky laptop.

@@ProAvgeek6328 my friend has a Titan and he has to carry around two massive power bricks and needs to power outlets for this laptop. It's also bulky. I like to travel and be out of the house so it's nice to be lightweight when traveling.

I miss when gaming laptops used a desktop cpu like the 11th gen intel core i9-11900k desktop cpu like the eon-17x from origin pc gaming laptop with it's 8 cores and 16 threads up to 5.3 ghz with support for hyperthreading while also downloading and using msi afterburner. I'm still interested in the eon-17x gaming laptop with it's 4k display from origin pc on linus tech tips youtube video back in 2021 since the gaming laptop has 2 power supplies with each power supply being 280 watts with user replaceable and user removable battery while also having 4 m.2 slots and a rtx 3080. The eon-17x is more portable and has similar size and form factor as the msi gt 77 titan compared to my full size tower gaming pc since I can carry it on a backpack or luggage with wheels. The thing that I really like about the msi gt 77 titan gaming laptop is the 4k mini led display with 1,000 nits brightness so there will be no more oled burn in issues since every oled device that I use already have burn in issues. Only certain laptops have 1,000 nits and anything less than 1,000 nits are too dim since 450 and 500 nits are still too dim. Even smartphones have brighter displays than there laptop and portable external displays counter parts.

Hey Justin… I was wondering if you can recommend a computer desk that would accommodate the Samsung 55” Ark monitor. Thanks and your videos are awesome. Btw… When are you going to show the final condo makeover video and the cost involved. I’m buying a condo soon and your videos inspire me on how I want my condo to look like and the functional tech installed. Thanks 🙏🏾 🤙🏾
