I have been obsessed with this song for weeks and as far as I’m concerned this is the definitive version. The very first time I heard the chorus drop I had chills and couldn’t stop myself from smiling. This mashup especially is amazing and I hope you are truly proud of your work-I certainly am.

@Bobby Murray brother i couldnt have said it any better that you did. Chills and can’t stop smiling every time I here that chorus. And I main NOFX the Beatles no use for a name and bad astronaut so this is so different but what can I say a great song is a great song. Idk I’ve been listening to this song for months now on the regular rotation and that powerful chorus gets me still
@joeltrekwars21623 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I didn't expect this one would be next. You've managed to mesh the chorus and the main one perfectly together, whereas the base orchestra is slightly longer than the actual one. Great work. I can't wait to see what you do with the others -- Sermon of Swords and Alive or Undead! hopefully.

You may understand it as a song about divine conflict, but what I hear in the final verse is a comparison and a condemnation: Those who "lose their hearts to the Spiritus Sanctus"- or in other words, take zealotry to the point of heartlessness-commit a sin so profane and damning that they may as well be "dancing with the dead".

As a person who is a big religious person and basically hates everything that is evil. I honestly don’t really like the story behind the lyrics, but the metal rock and behind it and the way that they sing the song is so good!! I both love it and hate it at the same time!

The way I see it is that this song offers a cautionary tale about the consequences of abandoning one's beliefs and succumbing to the temptations of darkness. It serves as a reminder of the eternal struggle between good and evil and highlights the dangers of straying from one's faith.

This song reminds me of holidays associated with the thinning of the veils like Samhain, or Dia de los Muertos. I know that may not have been the intention but the imagery in the music video that they did even reminds me of this ancient pre Christian holidays and how they were transformed after the new religion came in. I guess that’s why I always enjoy music because everyone can have their own interpretations of what it means to them. Again this is just my interpretation I know the artists had their own ideas when writing this song.
@zacharyjackson7444 Жыл бұрын
My personal interpretation of this song is that it is primarily a comparison between outright devil-worshippers and zealots who dare to pretend that their sins are commited in the name of God.

Powerwolf songs are all kinda vague, you can interpret them the way you like. And it's part of what makes them amazing.
