Definitely the son coming home after 7 years, them thinking he was gone. My son-in-law cried when he saw our daughter coming down the aisle in her wedding gown. It was beautiful to see the love he had and still has for her.

I loved them all. My faves were the hospital wedding, all the cute elderly couples, the sweet elderly lady getting her ring back, and the adoption request. The marine being gone for 7 years....I need context. Was he literally the worst son in existence for not contacting his family? Was he a POW trapped behind enemy lines? Why the no contact?

Instead of commenting stuff like this, try sitting down with him and tell him how you're feeling or it'll just get worse with him. Strangers on the internet aren't the best for this type of stuff especially when it's YOUR relationship, not theirs. You're the only one who can change it. If you do sit down with him and get nowhere, then yeah do what Elizabeth said and leave, you don't need to be stuck in a relationship you're not happy with but you also shouldn't expect a man to shower you with gifts, an engagement ring, etc most couples could be together for well over 10-15 years and never get engaged or married but they still love eachother. My brother was with his now late wife for almost 30 or more years and weren't married until a few years ago and they have 3 children (from how they acted and loved eachother I actually thought they were always married until my dad told me they weren't). You don't need a ring or gifts to be together or love someone. Go out and treat yourself.
