Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your channel. It's refreshingly real and down to earth. Not like other channels that continuously try to promote expensive tours and restaurants for commissions. I look forward to your next video!

Love your videos. You are so down to earth and honest. I have been to Paris many times, my French is tolerable but I keep trying. I was raised to be very polite so I get along very well with the French who are very polite. Two of the concierges at my hotel and I have become good friends so am looking forward to my next trip in late September, my favorite time to be in the world’s most beautiful city. Thank you.

I've recently started watching all of your videos and I just love it. I've been to Paris several times, as I only live about 3 hours away. I've always felt like a non-tourist (and yes, tourists can be so annoying sometimes) and it's affected my experience of Paris every single time. But watching your videos has expanded my mind about Paris and about the many great things one can do there. You know it's a good activity when a local enjoys it, so it adds a different perspective (ask a tourist and they will love everything, I feel lol). Thanks for the great videos, I've been enjoying them during my study breaks. :)

So I am just an OFBG living in Sarasota Fl who stumbled across your videos from my KZbin algorithm. I've been watching a lot of videos renovating chateaus and traveling videos around Italy and France. I want to travel sooo bad but I have serious back/disc problems and can't right now. Your videos give me hope and some really great information for the future. I will be having a "spine fusion" surgery September 10th and if all goes well I will be able to travel next year! Thanks for what you are doing.

Thank you so much for sharing this video! I'm so fascinated by the lives of people who are fortunate enough to live in Paris since it's the complete opposite of my life in the suburbs of the United States. Although everyone knows that people only post the best parts of their life on social media, it's still challenging not to compare your life to the influencers who are always traveling to luxurious places around the world! Thank you for reminding us that no matter where you are, most people are still doing the basic adult tasks of working, running errands, and living an everyday routine. I feel like a lot of young people feel a pressure to make everyday of their life a grand adventure. I look forward to hopefully visiting Paris next Spring and going to all of the places you've recommended and eating all of that delicious food! 😊

The only city I have visited where I wasn’t shocked with the difference of reality vs tourist was Tokyo. First time in Paris was a little shocking. It was dirtier than I expected. And the homeless were in the middle of the sidewalk rather than on the side of buildings. When my wife and I went to the Seine with a professional photographer, he apologized for the strong smell of urine. Didn’t bother us. We’re from a big city as well. We also live in a very touristy city. And like Lucile, we rarely to never go to the touristy things. We wake up, have our coffee and off to work. Weekends are for relaxing. And the touristy hotspots are far from relaxing.

Of course WE KNOW real life in Paris is not perfect, glamorous... We all lead BORING lives all around the world too 😅 What we enjoy in Paris and in other iconic cities around the world, as foreigners, is the break from reality, is this little break from real, hard life, is the dream, the possibility of day-dreaming for a bit, even if it is only through the internet. WE WANT to day-dream for a bit! I am commenting this because I see a lot of people talking about "real life in Paris". Yes, again, we know what "real life" is, we all live it. What we want to see is those little pieces of life that merge with little dreams of beauty and well-being and contentment. You are French, so show us what aspects of your life are very French, what are the places you love, what aspects of your culture you are most proud of and how you define yourself as a Frenchwoman. Also, of course, what you see as problematic in the country right now, what family relations are like. We wanna see the good and the bad, but no need to tell us the good isn't around all the time 😅 In which ways does living in Paris make your life beautiful, dreamy, even if it is but for a fleeting moment in rare days? That is what we wanna see. Sorry for the long rant, I think it can contribute to your channel! Love to you from Brasília, in the heart of Brazil.

I have to admit to having watched all 3 seasons of EiP, mostly for the fantastic high-def images of Paris (which I know is what everyone also says) but also, I'll admit, for the guilty pleasure of a mindless and silly but still entertaining show about glamorous and beautiful people who couldn't possibly exist in real life doing things that most people will never experience in their lives, i.e. pure shallow escapism. But like other mindless entertaining shows about glamorous people living other major cities like Friends and Fraser (each set in cities I've lived in), I fully realize that they have nothing to do with the reality of living in these cities and are just fun to watch. I also like Star Wars, but I'm pretty sure that it too is a fantasy that has nothing to do with space travel and real life and that the Force is only for weekends--right? 😉 Even your channel is obviously edited and prettied up to make Paris seem more romantic than it is on a day to day basis for its residents, but you admit this and explain that this isn't all of Paris, just the parts that you like and that you think that tourists would enjoy, and it's obviously not staged. Oh, and I love steak frites. So simple yet delicious, and the gravy goes well on the fries, like Poutine (which I've never had but seems delicious as well). I've prepared it myself and it's so easy to make. And, I'd say that the number one thing to do in Paris is to just relax and feel it, without any specific activity or sight in mind. See the sights and do all the things you'd like to do, of course. But in the end you have to just slow down and just take it in.

5.19 I just can not let , NOT to pointing out the pigeons in Europe who live in the city. Please NOTICE ( as it is not just in Paris but in EVERY SINGLE CITY I have been in I seen that the pigions is fly and landing at the crossing and than WALK over the other side as they seen all the people do so...! JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE DO and it is SO INCREDIBLE COMMON ! I seen it all over in Europes cities ! Once in Amsterdam as usual it started ( out of the blue ) PORING DOWN THE RAIN. all and everyone get in and standed next to the wal for not to get vet. A pigeon who were under the tree did not noticed it but so all the people move to the wal. so he fly to the grossing waited for 2 second ( for to see there is no car and than it WALK OVER THE CROSSING WHILE it was poring down the reign....! AI could not let burst to laugh about this pore thing who get also vet and in the end of crosing he fly in to the safe place where we all were. Also all the coffee all over in Europe and the restaurants where all people is sitting . They noitced it and see the waiter to serv food. but they do not like restaurant food but as soon one sit down in the park or where ever they will come and make it like in the coffees and restaurants and waiting like us all for to be served by the 'waiter' which in this case is us and strictly keep company like in the side coffee shops and restaurant all do. They are INCREDIBLE in this way how they adapt and want to be and do as a humans do...!

To foreigners, while eating Korean food, do not say that it is Chinese food or Japanese food. Japan invaded Korea's old Joseon in the past, and China and Vietnam are countries that are currently causing damage to Korea. Please do not say that Korean food is food from other countries. Don't say that. I'm angry that you're even saying that traditional food is from another country.
