I’ve only fought this thing once in my F4U-4B. It’s scary for sure, but gave me one of the best dogfights in RB I’ve ever had.

I've fought these things a lot in the P-51H and P-80. Thankfully most of them were flown by stupid people. The Su-11 is much worse to deal with because even a goldfish could fly it and get kills. Had a bonus round once. Someone brought their BI into my Viggen's domain. I gave them an Aim-9J for their troubles and then put 'em on the bus back to the hangar.

Unlimited ammo true, but there is limited fuel. Also compression really isn't completely negated, but the speed cap of rocket planes is just nonexistent in arcade, meaning you can just catch anyone and there is nothing they can do

This isnt knpwn by many, but the bigger reason the BI is so expensive is because it has a complete chokehold over the BR its at in squadron battles. Its so bad that some top squadrons wont play the BR's where BI are applicable if they dont have BI players on hand. Its one of the most unfuriating and hated planes among many squadron battles players I know.

some "little timmy" players actually bought this thing and had a win rate literally under 50%. i once dogfight it in a LF IX, only had 2 .50 cals left, and some major overheating problems, but somehow i hit that BI and he crashed into the ground (it wasn't because of my .50 hit him but he compressed lmao)

Full elevator and rudder withe throttle to 0 is an excellent airbrake in this thing but don't do it above 600 IAS or you'll RIP Throws so many people off guard, also helps you set up to avoid compression when dogfighting or setting up a pass I have only ever seen one other BI in game use this trick, checked his profile and had literally over 9000 kills in it

BI in squadrons battles can cach a Arado (with air spawn), befor any other plane even flay 100m above airfild. Then kill all fighters in turnfight, and still having ammo to burn 2-3 tanks. Definytly not op.

Remember like idk 6 years ago when people argued about if warthunder is pay to win and it was like ah the IS 6 is broken. And nowadays you can just spend 650$ do get a broken rocket plane or buy R60Ms to fight subsonic jets without flares. It went from like "maybe it's payto win if you look at it this way" to "if you want to compete at top tier you better spend at least 70$ on the newest premium"

you done it wrong. in arcade there is no fuel consumption (unless you have fuel leak), also you can rearm mid flight, and your controls wont stiff up that hard.

I'm glad I'm a Soviet collector, I ALWAYS -suffer- grind an event if there's a Soviet vehicle I love my BI, I don't use it in ARB tho, I use it in GRB playing anti CAS, I LOVE bullying CAS, making them cry/rage/complain in chat is soooo delicious And yeah, most of my deaths are from learning curves with this thing, locking up at high speed or ripping my wing(s) when pulling high Gs, but it is fun, not worth that price tho

this thing is probably the best (and only) example of russian bias in air battles, the F'er doesn't burn fuel if you set throttle below 30 percent, pulls 11 freaking G's at 600 ias while retaining all the speed (means it out rates zeroes) and climbs like a MiG19 on full throttle. ShVAK is now one of the best guns in the entire game and having two equals one shooting everything since this thing makes stuff get slow enough to one click remove point blank. What the hell.

If you have alot of supply and little demand the price will be low if you have little supply but high demand it will be expensive, now if a product becomes more rare it will become more expensive and if demand increases it will also increase the price in this case the BI is a funny broken plane and so many people want it, it just turns out not that many people got so you can sell it, meaning very low supply but very high demand that will drive the price even higher.
