I have several issues with flying it, but my biggest one is its matchmaker. It has to fight a10s and MiG 21s every game, with no flares or chaff. Also for some reason it’s incredibly pilot snipe-able

When I’m high up, I just fly perpendicular, once the missile is 1.5 miles, I turn into it, once it’s 0.8 miles, I turn upside and pull as hard as my plane can. Airbrakes, cut engine, flaps, everything. I’ve dodged even Aim7ms doing this. But not Aim120s. I need to figure out a different maneuver for those lil shits🙄

Use your landing flaps for speed brakes. They wont break, theyre made of british spirit.

Personally I’ll admit I’m a level 19 and I’m impatient and absolutely cannot stand the slow paced prop or even low tier turbine gameplay. So I bought the f-5 and the f20 and I can confidently say in my inexperienced opinion that I can preform really well even in an up tier if I play tactically and not head on the first spawn I’ve easily dropped 9 kill games. I will admit the f14 is the bane of my existence but as long as I’m paying attention it works fine 🤷🏻‍♂️
