This was without doubt one of the most rollercoaster weeks we've ever had. FM20 released in the same week that Anna had a university deadline and Andy pushed some boundaries. The week started off with stress, tears and a Google Stadia, before ending with an MRI, a trip to the cinema (including Andy) and a new food.

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 15), Amy (age 13) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

A roller coaster week as you said ... working, studying, daily chores cooking etc, parenting and the extra support given parenting a special needs child, and despite the tiredness... Kudos you both give your all and do you part to make your beautiful family happy and feel loved. Anna my mum heart so feels for you. I have worked and studied earning a degree and I had a companion dog (so a lil added responsibility) it is incredibly hard work. I absolutely commend your efforts however you can get through this final year, don’t forget the small things that relax you or make you smile. I have a son with partial blindness and ASD, I’m legally blind... so although we are different the never ending pressures to perform to our best are constant. I’m totally sending you a great big virtual hug 🌟💜💫 seriously how amazing... you had a dream and you followed through, your working that’s huge given your role previously was quite isolated being a mum at home and your an amazing loving, caring and protective mum to Andy. You getting back out into the world despite the difficulties along the way is inspiring. Shoot for the moon and if you miss you will land in the stars. You have got this and so many of us believe in you! You both as parents do your absolute all for your kids and are entitled to feel a lil weary and frankly sometimes a lil broken. Anna, I’ve often thought what an amazing mum you are. Andy is a real credit to you & all the hard work you’ve put in over the years. Our lad does the same. On many nights we end up sat with our noise cancelling headphones on watching our tablets whilst he uses the TV, his tablet, & my phone all at the same time. The noise & bombardment gets to you some times. Well done for letting it out & thank you for sharing the moment. It helps those of us going through the same the things to know it’s not just us. Anna is such a strong mom its hard to be an autism parent especially when you struggle with anxiety situations quickly turn chaotic and your overwhlemed while still trying to parent and meet everyone's needs its not easy and when you add school and work on top of it all its even harder I honestly don't know how you do it Anna you are a superhero just remember to take deep breaths

How have I only just found you?! I have a son 18 with autism and a son 3 with autism....I have 4 other children too. I found you looking for christmas with autism videos as we are worried about Christmas. Our 3 year old hates any change, lights and music. He has a really limited diet too. I did feel for Anna bless her and I can associate completely especially when she said that Andy takes over everything We have sky sports news on constantly while on his tablet or on his Xbox shouting at the games when he doesn't do well and don't get me started if the internet goes off .My son Kieran is 33 and it does get overwhelming sometimes and I often get to a breaking point in floods of tears . What I did with my plugs was to put little labels on them then we knew what cables was for what ..cables for tech is a curse lol

Don't know if it *really* helps, but peppermint oil sprinkled about the place (holes, freezer, where you see mouse poo) meant I no longer saw poo, or our very ballsy house mouse. It also smells quite nice.

I just refer to mine as blob eye (Not the sailor man, and mine is my left). 😛 Also poor Anna, hopefully she won't be as stressed out when she has Uni out of the way. 🙂 Ohh and don't feel bad Kev, we didn't get dress fittings either. 😢 But what you don't realise is, the booby holders are actually for you. So at least you have them. 😜

I know you are an amazing mom. I know exactly what sent you into tears. As the mother of a 35 year old autistic son some days are just completely overwhelming. When you've done all you can think to do to make them happy, to make their activities fun and to make things functional for the entire family to have it all Fall Apart and just a few minutes can be completely overwhelming.
