The whole topic around the comment of a man earning $650K a year is absolutely ridiculous. I am not sure if this is from a young lady, but as an older women the most important thing for us ladies past 40 yrs is stability of self. People have to understand people are at various places in their life. Ladies stop chasing after a man's bag and make your own bag. Men have enough hard time being men by societal standards and they bare alot of weight on their shoulders. Women are pitted against each other to be a standard instead of just loving themselves for who they are. Looking for Love is hard but my tip is to the younger people is don't look for love. Love will show up when your not expecting it. When you reach a place where you're secure in mind, body and finances is when love could pop up...but if you're like me who is single and enjoying your peace......ENJOY YOUR PEACE AND HAVE FUN! Stand in front of a mirror daily and look at yourself. That's the person whom you should love.

In the talking stage with a guy... I asked him what he wanted out of our exchange. He didn't quite understand. I specified: do you want a relationship or do you just want to dip and do it only? (Friends with benefits) He was shocked, he stumbled on his words and said relationship. 7 months in we have NO deep intimate relationship... strictly surface and basically sex. I flip and asked straight up: " when we strated to talked I wanted to save you some time by sparing you the emotion requirement that a woman need. "Technically" a man knows within the first exchange what he wants out of a woman. I've been asking to spend time with you. You've avoided any form of intimacy to make me feel like I've been asking WAY TOO MUCH... so again what do you want...??? He says: "I just want to have fun. I was surprised that you were that straight forward and didn't think you were that "simple ". My answered, through text: " PERFECT. Know that as per the terms and conditions has changed. Know that from this point forward, you are now dismissed. "

i think a very important nuance is to define what "i want to care for you" means, cause while we might be down to be the mother to your children and care for them in regards to physical care, we don't want to be YOUR mother. to care for someone in a non-mother role is like supporting a person by listening to their problems, helping them talk through struggles, finding solutions (but not necessarily acting them out or being the solution), holding them when they need to be held, maybe help with finances or giving them space when they need it. to do things FOR another person without being beholden to another person. to do things without obligation, because that means they will want to want to do things for you, without obligation

You know full well that if a guy posted something about how he wants a woman to make 650k a year he would get EVISCERATED for it. It's ridiculous that a woman can get away with that but a guy can't

I don't thinks a difference between genders, I think its difference between classy, trashy, realistic, selfish, etc. If anyone approached me with the demands some women think they're entitled to make absolutely "who tf do you think you are??" Nah, you don't get START at making demands. Loyalty earns you someone that'll work up to those demands with you.

The passport one sort of hit home.. I have a good lady friend from the UK no less, told me a story about coming to the States, and a guy (suppose long distance BF) ghosted her while in the air, she landed and never heard from him. I didn't know her then but, I was pissed hearing that story, she said had to get her own room and basically wait around till she was able fly back, never did ask why she didn't just change the ticket, but I believe finances was an issue, plus she young so it made sense, sort of. But that reminded me of the passport dream but irl

I lived with my roommate during lockdown and we got a little romantical if you know what I mean? one day I got home from work and he’s sleeping so I decide to play some RDR2 and let him be. He woke up in a frenzy, spewing apologies. Turns out his ex used to get MAD if he napped because he wasn’t there to pay attention to her. I felt awful for him. I couldn’t imagine getting annoyed or having anyone be annoyed at me for needing to sleep. Tbh the peace is nice, go to sleep and leave me alone lol
