Why did K. P. Yohannan not join the canonical Orthodox Catholic Church, considering how infatuated he seemed with Orthodox Christian liturgics, if not theology? Instead he built his own organization, something wikipedia refers to as "Eastern Protestant". Since you know the man, I figure you or your staff would have some insight as to why he remained independent.

I love KP! He always inspired me to devote myself to the Lord with sincerity of love, obedience, and discipline. I always wanted to meet him in person. May the Lord bless him in his rest!

This guy, Hank can have his opinion, but I WANT what Rodney Howard Browne’ ministry offers. Hank or any religious organization is NOT my gatekeeper.

I became an orthodox convert twenty some years ago. I went to a Pentecostal Bible college before that. You would not like me because I see where there is the father ,son, and Holy Spirit and abstaining from sin to the best of your knowledge, and I don’t sacrifice to idols. Your dislike of Rodney Howard Browne is a puzzlement to me. Father,paisios and other saints spoke out against such and I love him. . And the Pentecostals mock those priests who wear dresses, in jest, I suppose. When are people going to live and let live in the body of Christ.? I don’t attend church right now at the moment. Because of what I see in the church. I prefer a relationship with Jesus. Not that I won’t go back to a church. I just don’t like each one critical of the other for totally inconsequential things. The body of Christ is one and we are all connected.

We should all live our lives humbly to become a saint, yet knowing this is only possible through our Lord Jesus Christ whose loving mercy is without limits.

I would be leery of putting any flesh man on a pedestal. The disciples argued over who would be the greatest in the Kingdom, the old ego at work. Christ was quick to point out they were servants, abasing all of them. Ravi Zacharias fell pretty hard. Too many men have fallen after being put on a pedestal which only proves God’s warning to not put their faith in men. I can understand being appreciative of men who goes the extra mile, but not honoring them above that appreciation. Too many have already let us down, but God never will. That’s just how I see it.

I've heard in a couple different places over the last few years that either he, or the entire movement, was possibly moving toward Orthodoxy. Is this true? If so, where do things stand?

K P worship much? Let me add this you can die any day of the year and then say it is significant in correlation to a Saint. But you go even further like most zealous well meaning Christians and you say he died in between this day and in between that day and on this certain day as though that significant somehow. For all your preaching against a new age superstitious sorcery you sure seem to fall into that category. I'm so glad that our Lord blessed you and healed you of your cancer through your treatment or whatever course he chose to take. This is not meant to be a disrespect towards your good friend. This is more like a hey wake up and realize we all suffer in this valley of tears and don't give more credit to things or significance to things than is due. Throw a dart at a calendar and it will land on some sort of a saints Day that's all I'm saying. And yeah I'm an orthodox catechumen so it's not like I'm in non-believer here telling you these things.
