Perspective… stepping out from ourselves to try and see things through the eyes of our loved ones. Then we see, truly see. As a father this song always speaks to me.

It's funny how much a video changes the song. My wife and I heard this song without the video and we took it more as a couple's song. We used it for our wedding dance. Great reaction!!

Thank you for taking me back in time as all I can do is mentally and physically prepare myself for this new album, you're hyping up every aspect of the last 6 years of my life leaning on Nathan. And it's hyping me up so much, what an emotional rollercoaster, a perfect montage of songs leading up to nothing short of art that is life-changing to anyone who is blessed to hear it

Keeping busy is a “lifestyle” these days which is an avoidant attachment pattern that people use in order to not take time out for them, be with themselves and sit with the difficult emotions. If control is your measure of walking through life, you’re missing out on connection and emotional intimacy. The fear of getting hurt is so hard but people who are more resilient also have higher levels of hope. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable, with yourself and others opens up a whole new world 💜

I found that in the worst time dealing with depression after a nasty end of a relationship finding out the child I was raising wasn't mine during court, battling addiction after that had a family member that had been battling depression and an addiction attempted suicide. I quit cold turkey immersed my self in work, writing, staying in the gym and everything else to get over everything but didn't actually deal with anything 11yrs of sobriety when down the drain when I had a breakdown battling depression and addiction once again found myself dealing with old problems I never resolved and compounded with several new ones made it a very rough road, fortunately my fiance of 7yrs stuck through all of it with me helping me get through with minimal support from just a handful of family and real friends things are in a better place than we were then but it's been an uphill 3,1/2yrs battle that's getting better and easier everyday but mental health is a battle that's always going to take alot of effort and hard work to have positive results.

Yet again mate a great breakdown. Hits hard doesn't it? One of the hardest things to do. To any young fellas browsing comments here may I offer some advice? Listen to NF in this song, and this fantastic young Lady in her reaction. Don't be me or far too many other stupid pricks. Or to keep what you love dear, you will have to kill so fucking much of yourself you won't recognise anything you see in the mirror. Learn early. Don't develop so much ring rust it eats into you so much that, when you chip it all off there is little of the real you left to share👊

Matthew 8:24-27 24And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. 25And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” 26He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. 27The men were amazed, and said, “What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” Love!
