Light V. Kaninabe had one of the best endings of any set I've seen - Light's pop off followed by the Fox-Main-Respect-Hug transcending cultural boundaries was immaculate

I think it's funny and kind of undeserved how much people hate on sonix where in a decent amount of the sets he was aggro and on their ass a lot of the time and only camped when he needed to(not to say when he did camp it wasn't boring) like his set with Kola Ken plays 10x lamer and Wrath plays 1000x lamer

its because sonix knows how to push advantage further than those two, which makes it more exciting seeing ken and wrath win a neutral interaction leads to about 20-40% while sonix is leagues above with about 50-70%

Ironic that popular opinion has changed drastically on Ken. I remember a time when he was the only respected Sonic and all the North American Sonic players were considered "less entertaining to watch." Has Ken gotten less aggressive over time or something?

Sonix is definitely the best sonic to watch, but that is still relative. Also sonic has a strong similarity with steve in the fact that he can go super aggro with incredibly safe moves and get super early kills (Sonix is INSANE at securing edgeguards btw, one of the best in the world easily) and then camp his nuts off to win a game. There is generally about 30 seconds of excitement in a sonix game. and they last anywhere from 5-7 minutes.

Those Sonix sets were hype, especially the one vs Acola, he completely dismantled him live, literally didn't drop below 2 stocks against him and the Miya set was genuinely just insane smash.

@@nathanm6372 Holy....bruh, I've been saying this for awhile now, never thought I'd meet someone who agrees. Yeah it's a clown fest at camp Leo and Leo is pretty delusional now. Imo he has largely refused to acknowledge that his peers were getting better up until just recently, he almost always has an excuse why he loss then proceeds to try to cheese someone with 2021 Byleth drop from ledge up b like it's going to hit LOL. I also firmly believe that his large character pool is due to him simply not wanting to adapt and play better with just 2 characters so he thinks he can just pick x character, hoping it will throw his opponent off.
