I just played with that douser in S+, and that threw the match again. Sepnt the majority of they match shooting at me, a teammate, and spamming this way. Either they just give up really quickly when against tough opponents, or they're intensionally trying to rank down. 😤

I think a yellow card is like a warning, whereas a red card is you are ejected from the game. (Yellow card: Hey! This is a warning! Don't do it again! || Red Card: Nah, that's it. You're done! Get out of here!)

in football (or soccer if you are american), a yellow card is a warning, if you get 2 yellows in one game it defaults to a Red Card (which removes you from the game, do not pass start, your team is not allowed to substitute the removed player), if the violation is serious enough they skip the yellow and go straight to red

They think they can’t win so they give up and get salty. It’s annoying considering comebacks are always possible, but with the thrower there’s basically no chance, and since they don’t just disconnect, it’s a guaranteed loss for everyone else, which the thrower might take joy in if they think their teammates were the cause of the loss (they usually aren’t 😕)

I still remember an X battle I had where someone threw the moment the game even started. Like before anything could even happen the game started and they just refused to leave spawn. I remember there was one time I ran into a griefer in X Clams, on the enemy team one match then on my side the very next game. Now normally this wouldn't be too noteworthy, except that they turned up again a few rounds later on the other team and were actually trying this time. I really wonder what their reasoning could be for actively throwing 2 games back-to-back before starting to play properly at some point afterwards. (Also, I did get the last laugh because while they were playing pretty good in that last game, we managed to come out on top by I think 4 points in a pretty high-scoring contest.)

Yeah there have been a lot of throwers in Ranked and X-battles recently. Just yesterday, I had a sploosh player that only focused on the objective and didn't help/try to make space he had 4 kills, but all of them had been objective based,. After 3 minutes, he just gave up.

The biggest problem with shooters is that they are incredibly unskilled and overpowered in every level except for top level where they are still too weak. They can either be balanced to match top level only, or the rest of the game except top level. Shot getting rng buffs without losing any of its s2 buffs showed what they chose this game.

The worst part of soloq is the unpredictability of not just player competance but also behaviour. It's one thing for players to just be bad at the game, even top level players make mistakes. But the line is drawn when players give up. These players waste thier teammates finite time.

And so me and one member were holding down mid, I die and find the other two just standing there...doing nothing.
