I LOVED that season!! Hannah G got her heart broken 💔 so many times & she's so pretty. I wasn't sure if they were still together?!? They made an adorable couple & seemed extremely happy together.! In the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise world if they make it to 3 years in a committed relationship, they may make it & last. The other's after 6 months, that's the chance they take when signing up & most don't last.

I think that season 7 is so successful because they had a variety of contestants from more than one season of the Bachelor/ette. But also Paradise is better than the other shows. It allows people to find someone more compatible but also gives them the opportunity to get to know each other better.

I never understood all the hate for this season. It was very un-Bachelor but also iconic in it's own weird way. Like, where was the weird eating tacos off naked bodies date this past Paradise season? It was also the first season post-lockdown; and I wonder if that led to more people having an appreciation for connecting with others in-person (remember how Ivan risked it all just for a chance just to see someone that was being held up in the staging hotel?) - and gave the couples a bit of an incubation period to date without too many interruptions. There was no stagecoach, no coachella, no revolve events - just this and DMs.

The main reason why I think this season was so successful is the age of the men!! Most of the men from this season were from Clare/Tayshia’s season, so they were all a little bit older to cater to Clare, the “oldest bachelorette”. These men were serious, ready for an engagement, and didn’t play childish games like the boys from paradise season 8. Notice how the only couple still together is Michael and Danielle, where Michael is older as well…
