On this week’s episode Madison shares for the first time in full detail her experience on the Bachelor: why she went on the show, why she never talks about it, all of the behind- the- scenes moments of filming, and the questions everyone wants to know. Madison unpacks the good moments, funny and awkward moments, as well as the hard moments in the filming and airing of the show. Madi opens up about how reality tv changed her life. She answers the questions: Do you regret going on the Bachelor? Why would a Christian go on the show? How do you stay true to your values in a high-pressure environment like the Bachelor? I was born Muslim, then was in the new age practising Reiki and other modalities. I was obsessed with the bachelor series for over 10 years, and 3 months before I got saved I saw the season you were on. I remember being so triggered by the cross you were wearing, but still so curious how you were not gossiping and held true to your values. When God revealed himself and showed me that Jesus is the Son of God, he showed me many seeds that were planted for me to know the truth. You were one of them - he showed me a flash of the bachelor series and how you and two others were in Christ and this is why you were the way you were. He showed me that he used you as a seed for me to come to Christ. Thank you for your obedience and sharing this with everyone!

I was 19 years old when I watched you on the show. I’m 23 now and I hope that I am just half of what you were at that age. I always admired you and your grace and how strong you were for being a firm believer in front of millions of people. Thank you for staying true in the faith, leading people to Christ and for always taking every hardship you encountered back to the foot of the cross. God will reward you immensely. God loves u all so much1 God bless any prayer requests or any questions? God sent his only son to die for u so live for Him (not trying to force) Gods got u and is in ur corner always, fighting for u, and the best way for u to fight is on your knees, praying. Start with journaling, prayer, worship, turn off bad music, verses, living like the fruit of the spirit each day. Nobody is perfect except Jesus. It’s okay to make mistakes, we all do. Feel free to reach out and talk for anything. ask God for wisdom in every situation. God loves u and so do i. Have a blessed day friend. Some of my fav verses: Matthew 19:26, John 3:16, Isaiah 30:21. Pick 1 fruit of the spirit today, and practice and live by it in all areas. Invite God into your life, every aspect and area. Trust the story because you know the author. If there is any prayers I can pray for y'all pls lmk! Jesus loves y'all all! I’m here if anyone has any prayer requests! He will shine His light on you and your path and guide you and show you the way in His perfect plan and timing so trust Him and His good faithfulness, He and His love, mercy, and grace never fail! Amen surround us Lord! Be authentic!! Gods got you and this! God is with u! And He wants u as u r! He’s the reason for the season! Praise God forever and ALWAYS!! NEVER STOP PRAYING AND PRAISING Don't compare, Gods got you and there's a reason for ur season! pray and go to Him as u are! He loves and wants you! praise God amen! Be humble! Thank you for listening to the plan God had for you! I use to be a huge Bachelor fan while being Christian & then I saw you on there. I remember struggling so hard with purity and almost thinking “this is so impossible, do girls really save themselves?” & seeing you be so bold and confident truly inspired me and was an answered prayer almost. Madi I just want to say how much this podcast blesses me. I have 2 children I am almost 30 this month and I come from a very traumatic past. Your moms response on praying before doing anything is what I am raising my kids to do. I love the Lord with all my heart and try my best to live for Him. this is so beautiful. I was a senior in HS who always has told myself I will save myself for marriage. Your season was also the only season I watched, as many other people! I think it's so beautiful the wisdom you were able to give so many of us and it has given you a platform to continue pouring into young women. It's so beautiful how God paved your path this way.

Madie....I LOVE that you shared this story. Yes it was hard and God put you through a lot of trials but look at the good that came out of it? You are an example to young girls to stand true to their faith and values and purity. God spoke to you about going on the show and you were obedient and listened to Him so that He could use your testimony to be an encouragement to others. And look at how God has rewarded you - He brought the love of your life into your life and you have this incredible man that you are serving God along side of. Praise God for your obedience and for the testimony that you have and thank you for sharing!

I love this testimony! I have followed you for awhile and even I didn't understand why you went on the bachelor as a Christian. I am so happy you’re speaking about this! I know you didn’t do it for fame, but I feel like it was God’s way for you to grow an audience and share His word. I’ll be honest, I was not saved during the time you were on the bachelor. It was awesome to see someone hold true to their boundaries. I really couldn’t understand but I respected your values.. I remember that season of the bachelor and immediately was like okay I want you to win lol but I was so amazed by your vulnerability and transparency about waiting until marriage and I loved that. I started following you after seeing you on the first night and rooted for you the rest of the season. I’ve always admired your boldness for standing up for your faith in the public eye. I just find it really interesting and hard to believe that God would lead you into a situation to pursue a relationship with a man who clearly didn’t share the same values as you. When Peter was on Hannah Brown’s season, they disclosed they were intimate multiple times during fantasy suites.

Hey Maddie!! Thank you for sharing about this. I loved your season on the Bachelor. I always admired you STAYING TRUE to yourself and the Lord, but a part of me always wondered how you ended up on the show. I was wondering if you could do an episode specifically about physical chronic or undiagnosed ailments. I have been suffering for 2.5 years with an on going and undiagnosed pain in my lower right area of my abdomen. I have definetly grown in my relationship with the Lord, and I would not change that for the world. But, I have always been an active person and now that that has been taken away (for a season I am praying) I would love to hear some wise counsel about this in particular. Thank you!
