Depite all the problems that the pirates caused. Causing more powerful navys like the Brittish being able to easily take advantage and win wars.

This is going to make a good Assassin Creed story. She sounds like a good guy, a rebel (against the emperor/ Templar). Also, she has on/off relationship with allies which makes it very dramatic. She was very brutal, not hesitating to kill anyone in her way (just like every other pirate). She beheaded A LOT of people. Many of her underlings as well. She was definitely a “badass” in regards to her skill in commanding, bravery, and fierceness...but she wasn’t a saint whatsoever.

Itay Weiss Women still have rights even though a bit different than present day. Chinese women are well known for running business and having political influence. There's a story about a tribeswoman and a chieftain wife who led her army after her husband got captured in battle. Or the last emperor of China most of his ruling time actually run by his mother because he's still a toddler when he's crowned the new emperor.
