I think what puts Jett up there is how effortless his riding style is. His technique is perfect and he never looks like he is riding more than 70-80%. That technique transitioned really well to his first 450 race this weekend..he didn’t look like he was struggling at all.

I've been watching SX/MX for 43 yrs. Jett has the best riding position I've ever seen (David Bailey is 2nd) but NOBODY was faster than James Stewart when he was at his best. But the epidemy of a supercross rider is Ken Roczen. He's a winner, modest, clean rider and the toughest mofo I've EVER seen. One more thing, Jett should have slammed Fernandes 0:28. Last lap with a few turns to go for your first win? But he was only 16. Can't be too hard on him racing clean, but come on, sometimes you need to give what you get.

He makes it so effortless, that most people unfamiliar with motocross, will actually think, it is like riding a rocking chair with some added flying time (soft landing each time, of course). He is the person who caused that first guy to say: Hold my beer... Kid is having fun at 80% effort and destroying the field. Incredible to watch. Chase was named a perfect riding style guy. ...then came Jett to cancel that.

RC has 4 125 titles, 6 outdoor 450 and 5 450 SX = 15. A title is a title and it does count, otherwise we'd only be talking about how RC is an 11 time champ and ignore his 125 titles. Jett has 4 straight 250 titles, which puts him already at one of the winningest 250 riders of all time, beside RV, Stew and RC. My point originally was he just needs 6 450 titles to technically have the 2nd most championships behind Carmichael. I've been watching your videos for years. You do a great job editing. However I have noticed that most of your videos are 3 second clips followed by 3 second clips. At times more information or more details about what is happening in the videos would be helpful for bringing more interest to the video. For example if we just listen to the video we cannot make much sense about what is happening. I'm not a content creator, so maybe it's more complicated than I think. I still like what you do, just thinking what areas could improve. Keep up the good work. It is much appreciated.

Everyone will have their own opinion and of course everyone will usually choose the rider from their generation. In reality it will never be answered because nothing is ever the same due to the sports progression and advancements in bike technology. Put it this way, would Jett be who he is as a rider if not for the idols he had before him and what they contributed to the sport. Carmichael, Stewart, MCgrath, KDub, Doug Henry, John Dowd, Mike Larroco, RV9, RD5, CR22, KR94, ET3, and the list goes on. Jett is a talented rider, and he is great for the sport, no doubt, but most talented, definitely not, he is just very marketable and is the fastest of the the current generation. Now if I had to choose the most talented "RIDER" not racer of all time it would easily be TP199. He isn't the fastest, he gets hurt a lot, but name any other rider whose riding career spans over so many different disciplines of motorcycle competitions and have been competitive at the highest level of those disciplines.

@@MrTmel123 If James and jett went head to head on 125's both at 19 years old, James would dominate. But not 450's, the 450 fits Jetts style & jett won championships on 250 but not by winning a alot of races, he got a lot of 2-2 overalls. Go watch james on a 125, nobody could flick and whip that bike around like James did. Facts🤷‍♂

@@defconone681 bro why u just straight lying. Deegan didn’t get a champ his rookie year, smx is not fucking counting that’s a 3 round chip and wasn’t available to 250 jett. Deegan races the full sx season last year and lost, badly for a guy who was meant to win it, jett got his sc chip second year. And jett multiple times put out fastest lap of the days on 250 doesn’t meant he was a quicker rider then the 450 guys then it means 250 guys ride a smoother track. Oh and jett was younger then deegan while doing all of this
