I like to think about D4C's namesake referring to how easy it is to die, but how it doesn't matter to/doesn't phase Funny Valentine. Each time he "dies", he comes back for cheap - or technically for free. The song even lists deaths that wouldn't matter if they happened to Valentine. He is the one villain who sees all lives as expendable for his goals, even his own.

And in order to collide you don't need direct contact, you need to just be near to your counterpart and since TW and SP (i'm not counting star finger) are both fighting on direct combat with fists, collision would happed and don't forget that speed of D4C is A so he matches SP and can hit Jotaro with small part of hand leaving love train and Jotaro/DIO couldn't even react to it by stopping time and every little harm from D4C basically means, that you're dead.

Even only finger of D4C can leave love train to make unnoticeable attack and they're done and if not, there's still collision. Also don't forget that Valentine can bring more Valentines who wouldn't let SP get near base Valentine so easily. And Jotaro or Dio can't kill for ex. 100 Valentines in one time stop, it has some limitations. Or he can get some overpowered allies from AU with convincing arguments (like Diego), but that would be dangerous for president. I think an understated fact on why D4C is so dangerous is that it's your typical combat type Stand in a part where Stands have been reduced to ability based to enhance the user rather than being able to physically fight on top of it like previous parts. With the advantage alone on top of its overwhelming ability that would make powerhouses like Star Platinum, Crazy Diamond, King Crimson, The World, The Hand, Sticky Fingers, etc halt in caution to avoid being hit by the collision of parallel selves effect, D4C goes from your typical powerhouse to potentially unbeatable even before Love Train was introduced. It would take extreme circumstances to even make the heroes' Stands be able to stand on a level-playing field to even combat its base power, let alone the Love Train ability.

No, not really. Love Train is a dimension that acts like a physical manifestation of divine intervention. Valentine is not interested in other countries suffering, he only wants the US to succeed and prosper, with the redirection being a sacrifice he's willing to make. A Requiem is very niche, but with next to no flaws for most people. Love Train is just too generally good to be a Requiem. It's not even comparable to Heaven stands, as I see personally that Heaven stands are just another version of Requiem stands with a bit more accessible but difficult process to evolution.

It may be a bit of a stretch, but I think D4C's name as it relates to the actual song involves 1. The actual plot of Steel Ball Run, and 2. Its power allows its user to ignore the cost of risky or dirty actions (i.e. Death) so it allows Valentine to perform Dirty Deeds for cheap. 1: This song is sung from the perspective of a "fixer" someone who does things no one else is willing to do (hence Dirty Deeds), and he does them cheap and with no moral qualms of any kind. He kills people, he offers to fuck a woman to revenge cheat on her husband, he offers to be a homewrecker, he offers to destroy stuff, etc. These are all things that Funny Valentine does in the anime as well. He kills people, he doesn't care about the morality of his actions because in his eyes, everything is justified. He destroys things, he ruins people's lives when he doesn't kill them, he cheats on his own wife (who he doesn't know is dead) with a 14 year old (disguised as his wife and he doesn't know isn't actually his wife tbf). Funny Valentine is the American "Fixer". In his eyes, he is "fixing" the country.

Not a D4C joke, but I recently read Uzumaki and several other of Junji Ito's smaller works, and if not for Jojo's often light-hearted nature with silly jokes and memes forcing us into a bias lighthearted-mood where, for example, instead of terrifying, Polpo and Black Sabbath's designs are just comically ridiculous instead of genuinely menacing and frightening, Jojo would probably be classified as a 100% completely horror manga, and definitely one of the scariest in shonen and probably manga in general. The similarities are uncanny, and you can tell how much Araki takes inspiration from authors like Junji Ito and more. Araki really is masking a feeling of true horror in his stories, and I can only hope the anime for Parts 6-8 to bring out the real *scale* of his true cosmic horror in fully animated form.

The literally only reason he lost was because he was cocky. It has been shown that he can send parts of himself to other timelines at command, and he does not need much to send D4C to an alternate. And he could have just evaded the shot by using the reality warping ability of Love Train then jump into another dimension with his jacket or flag. Infinite rotation has too long and obvious activation criteria for him to not just evade it and just backstab Johnny by coming back into the main timeline through his clothes.

Realistically, it would end rather quickly, as just a bit damage is enough to cause fatal damage. With Love Train, Valentine would just need to get close, which he can because he is as fast as a horse's top speed, and just give WoU a small cut on the arm or something like that, and it would be over. Even if D4C gets harmed by the calamity, Valentine can just live with the missing hand or give D4C to an alternate.

I always assumed that D4C can only travel to worlds similar to the one it is rooted in. Like because he's rooted in the SBR-verse he can't just hop to the Phantom Blood-verse with D4C. Maybe I'm wrong but that's always what I interpreted it as. The only thing that muddies the water with this is the games where he is in different dimensions but maybe when he goes to alternate dimensions drastically different to the last one he was in that becomes the new root.
