Seems like Greg's blue color is camouflage against Five Pebbles' systems. Suns knew their friend wouldn't welcome another messenger from them, so they gave Greg that color. Greg, as a creation of Suns, is actually red beneath that camouflage.

Which probably could've been avoided if SRS focused on saving Moon rather than their relation with Pebbles (or, ya know, not sending Spearmaster to deliver that disaster of a pearl in the first place)

Since part of its diet turns out to be metal scrap and various electric components, it poses a threat to the iterator. A defenseless pup is created, a treat no predator could resist. Thing is that the pup has poison within their system, which makes eating them dangerous and would make the predator fatally sick. As we know, sickness is one of the ways you can legit die outside the cycle. It's proven by Hunters' rot, which technically is a sickness (or at least I think that's the case, the cycle is a mysterious force that nobody know how it works) That Pup's purpose is just to die by the jaws of that creature, nothing else. Their growth is stunted, their muscles are weak so they can't throw anything, they have no abilities that could help them. It's all made to make them appear as weak and frail as possible, a runt of the litter that can't fend for itself, all just to act as perfect bait to that predator. Do with that concept whatever you want, I just felt like writing something lol

Maybe it's because of SRS's state? Spearmaster was made when SRS was still standing and thriving, as well as Spearmaster being intended as a messenger from the get-go; Sacrifice might have been made when SRS had weakened by that point, didn't have much time to fully develop Sacrifice and perhaps because Sacrifice is made from neurons instead of being a thoroughly organic being?

@@Pibola64 Considering they explode into an cloud of neuron flies when they die/ in the ending i assume yes. Besides, the scug has the resistence of wet toilet paper, if it falls from over 2 feet it gets a seizure and can't even throw rocks

after all that effort of getting to 5p, I get a bad ending. after crawling down into the abyss, I get a lukewarm ending (a bad ending in my opinion). after reflecting on another campaign, I get the worst ending. HE JUST CAN'T WIN and its so sad to see

The second ending does make me curious... Will the Sacrifice now forever be stuck in a repeating cycle of exploding into neurons for Five Pebbles, as there is neither end nor solace beyond void fluid? Five Pebbles is the closest thing to a villain the game has. The Ancients are a close second, but with them you can at least make the argument that they didn't know better. FP doesn't have that excuse. He knew *_exactly_* what he was doing to Looks At The Moon.
