All of mine 4 Monitor Desk arm does this. No a arm for like 5$ doesn't do this but any only a little bit better will do the same thing

If somebody wishes to lift the monitor due to their height, they would likely require the capability to adjust its angle as well. Modern monitor stands provide a smaller and more efficient range of motion (See how the gimbal mount moves the screen closer and further away just to change elevation), improving on that of gimbal mounts. Furthermore, current monitor stands can hold greater weight than gimbal mounts which would be helpful would somebody want to attach more than something the size of a tablet. furthermore, you're going around the comments saying a mic arm isn't the same because it doesn't have a monitor attached to it. The attached equipment of an arm wasn't being reviewed, but rather just the arm itself; so their comments are valid.
