From outside, I have so far always had positive experience with anything or anyone from Ebonyi State and I hope to be able to visit that beautiful state one day. Before I got married, I would have gladly married their daughter as a wife if I had found one. Maybe I was not looking at the right place for that. Thanks for the video. The people and government are doing the nation proud in many areas.

The ebonyi river, which flows past abakaliki,on it's way to link up with the cross river, should be canalised and an industrial jetty built along it's banks in the city. Thus,it would kickstart it's ascendancy into an economic hub in the west and central african subregion.Canals have formed the basis for meaningful economic growth, over the centuries.Think of the panama, suez, manchester ship canals etc,and the invaluable benefits that they have contributed to the world's economy as a whole.Even in west africa, the port of abidjan, cote'ivoire, would not have attained it's admirable role,as the busiest in the subregion, without the construction of the vridi canal, completed in 1950,by the french colonial masters.

This is possibly the fastest developing city in the South East. Now imagine if all Keke and bikes are replaced with urban mass transit buses with all of the markings unique to Ebonyi state. Impressive especially as this is the Youngest state in the South East by date of creation. I think the governor here is really passionate about infrastructure development which is a good thing. With time, Abakaliki could be going toe to toe with Enugu in terms of economic activities. This city is to the South East what Gombe city is to the North East in terms of pace of development

You're doing a good job my brother! I've always wondered why Abakaliki people, eboyians in general are somehow looked down on. We ourselves really need to overcome that inferiority complex and work at developing our state. And we keep praying for continuity in good governance. Jisìke my brother.

Well I'm currently serving in Ebonyi based in Abakaliki I must say in terms of infrastructure the govt has done a little What I don't understand is the deep drainage that is not properly maintained. The state govt needs to look into that. Also the rice mill is just not functioning as it ought to Since farming is the major source here the govt should be used bring up initiative of revitalising such mills in production.

The state government has been doing quite well in the state(My state precisely) Since the state is still in its budding stage, this would be the best time to have a good plan for the for state, in terms of road network, drainage system, skyscrapers and so on. It could become an international tech hub and also coupled with the thriving agriculture in the state, it could become an industrialised state.
