Tbf I dont see many Br3 SMGs used by German players maybe because the MP40 its perfectly viable at BR3 despite being a BR2 gun. So I imagine for many players its a case of "why bother spending silver buying and upgrading a new gun when the MP40 still works".

Yeah because some of the weapons are just not worth the uptier, an MP35/ZK-383 just aren't as good compared to other nations, specifically the soviets, who have the PPSH41(BOX) which is so good that you can easily fight in BR5.

I have a theory as to why the ZK-383 is probably considered underrated. You can divide this into 4 nice points. 1st Point - New players just got into BR 3 and are still on the grind. In this situation, an MP-40 will do decently well until they reach BR 5 to unlock the STG-44. Meaning they'll skip the BR 3 and 4 SMGs in the process to save up on Silver, for which I won't blame them. It's something even I'd recommend. 2nd Point - A lot of players would rather use the MP 35/1 because it's German made. That SMG still does decently well, and it'll let players who want to focus on historically accurate to follow their wish. It's pretty straightforward with this point. 3rd Point - Then you have players like me who have everything unlocked and have a variety of other weapons you'd want to play. Yes, I want to use the ZK-383 as my default BR 3 SMG, but I also have the Suomi KP-26 and MP-41(r) that I want to use. And those 2 weapons aren't something many players have. 4th Point - Players tend to focus on making a BR 2 and BR 5 loadout. Not everyone has 55+ different squads they can choose to make a separate BR loadout for every nation.

The Ross rifle is so underrated, i don't know why, but it's hitbox is different from all the other rifles, you just can't miss a shot and it has one of the best sounds in the entire game.

I agree. The Ross rifle, the M93 and M95 Mannlicher are my favorite to use for riflemen and engineers

Czechoslovakian weapons were really underrated but were never mass used, the ZK-383, ZB-26 and ZH-29 were all great weapons, even the british bought licence to ZB-26 and made the famous Bren gun

ZH-29 is underrated, it's basically an SVT but slightly worse, still a decent gun

​@deadreckoning4777You have to take in mind that the ZH-29 was introduced in 1929, while the Tokarev was introduced in 1938 and improved version in 1940, Gewehr 41 was introduced in 1941, so you can see that all of theese are 10 round semi-auto riffles, while Czechoslovaks were the ones who were most ahead of the time, 9 years ahead of Soviets, and 12 years ahead of Germans

@@slovakguy453 Fedorov Avtomat was the first Automatic rifle, in 1915 it was made, yes the ZH29 is an impressive feat but other nations had better rifles, also it wasn't mass produced and was no were near of becoming the standard rifle for the Czechoslovakian army. The Vz.24 was the standard rifle and it wasn't as great as the Mosin or the Mauser or the Gever's.

@deadreckoning4777 That in fact, is the truth, the ZH-29 wasnt mass produced, amd the standard issue riffle was Vz-24 but i wouldnt say that it was much worse than the other Manual riffles from that time, I'd even say it was better than some, it realy depends what are we looking at, but in terms of built quality, accuracy, and reliability it was comporable or even better than some riffles at that time, if we wanted like pure range, then those 10 round British Lee Enfields or Enfield P14, and i do think so that Fedorov Avtomat was not first automatic gun, yes, it was designed in 1915 but saw combat in 1916, the French light machine gun Chauchat i think was the first fully auto weapon, even with horribly low Rpm, and after all if we look at British semi-autos for example, they didnt really adapted anything, their first widely used semi-auto was the the SLR also called FN FAL if i remember correctly

What? the Kiraly39m and the 40 round Berreta m38 are MILES ahead of the mp35 and zk383. the kiraly 39m is probably better than the STG44, its way better at long range, much faster fire rate, more ammunition and an insane reload speed. The stg44 is a really good gun too but it's not as great compared to the fast-fire rate weapons of the soviets, it is really good at close/medium range but not as great for clearing rooms

This is the next gun im researching as i get level 3 assaulters with it. I wont get level 4 assaulters until the top of thech tree so thats a while away for me. I am just about to finish researching the anti tank grenade rifle with level 3 riflemen squad and thats the top level riflemen squad for axis. I got the level 2 engineers just before that as that is the top level engineer squad. I know i liked this gun but i didn't know how good it was as i only just reached it on the tech tree so i wouldnt know how good it was without seeing this vid. Cheers for making it. Ill try my riflemen with grenade launching rifles and gewer 41s and my assaulters with these smgs.

The ZK383 is great at BRIII the only thing I would say is better is the gold order Soumi with the curved magazine cause it has a little bit more ammo with 36 rounds.

Saved me a lot of trouble against soviets that's for sure! Nice gun for multiple purposes: Can function as a light LMG, or as a trench-building sweeper. About the tier problems: i think the Beretta m38/42 should be br2 because the stats are the same as the Beretta M1, but that's just my opinion.

I like it, but I don't love it It's maneuverability is excellent, but the low ammo count on the heavy machine gun is my biggest con I run out of 20mm in dogfights quite often with the zero

The mp 35 got higher damage and decent 35 bullet mag. The betetta got 40 bullets and zero vertical and horizontal recoil, best gun for tankers

I think BR3 smgs in general are sleeper weapons. Japan has the Sig 1920 whcih has 50 round mags, a bayonet, and virtually zero recoil. The soviets have the box mag ppsh 41 which has overpowered accuracy (the shot dispersion is as good as a rifle). America gets access to thirty round thompsons whcih have insane reload speed after the buffs. And gemany hs the ZK 383 which you did a great job of showcasing.

I really don't get why they don't show the names of the players above their controlled soldiers unless you're grouped up. It'd go a long way towards making it feel like you're actually playing with...people... (Edit: I realize why. It's because it'd make it even more clear which players are obviously bots.) Also 16:00 is why I prefer medpack speed over sprinting. I really wouldn't want the ZK uptiered to BR4, it's the only SMG at BR3 that represents a significant upgrade over the previous BR's weapons. The MP35/I is a marginal upgrade over the MP40, and the Beretta 38/42 is practically the same as the cheaper-to-buy/upgrade Beretta M1.

I'd say the type 96 lmg is underrated, at least when put side by side with the KE7. The type 96 has a 60% recoil control for whatever reason, which makes it way more controllable than almost any other lmg.

The KE7 has the benefit of a 80% sprint factor, l think that makes it a fairly balanced choice

@@martinkrol2840 yeah that's a bonus for the KE7, but since japan has a great smg at that br which will better fill the role of a mobile (sub)machinegun squad, I simply think that if you're going to bring a machinegun squad, you'd want it to be sitting back a bit and laying down fire from range. The type 96 does this better than the KE7. That's why I prefer the type 96

Not really a gun, but I think the Hurricane plane for the Americans is pretty underrated. You get A LOT of 7.7 guns & ammo & 2 medium bombs It's my favorite plane to strafe infantry with. All the Fw's are good too

Man many time just one player is high BR, not all players. That depend how many high rank squad they have . In my USA team I have a grour who can play around BR 2 to V it is insane, but In most cases is going to BR 3.

I don't mean to brag, but today I did 66.666667% of the supply drop challenges with ease so I have a Hi-Power silver and an SKS, I think. But since I don't play with the USSR I won't use them for a while😅. They were so easy. My personally underrated weapon is the VG 2. I rarely see it being used but it slaps. Of course there is the possibility that some players playing Germany doesn't have the proper gear at BR 3 because of the Campaign Merge thingy (like I did) so I see a lot of beginner carbines but still, the VG 2 is a very accurate and fast firing rifle, and it has a very satifying sound as well

Oh, also the Hotchkiss M1922 for Japan. It's a BR 2 LMG but I'm comfortable using it at BR 3 instead of the improved Type 96 (both visually better during ADS and the reload is faster)
