You seem to have enjoyed my previous video in which I shared some of my favorite easy mixed media techniques ( • EASY Tips For DECORATI... ) which I am so happy about! Today we will dive a bit deeper into mixed media and will have a play with some watercolors, spray inks and acrylic paints.
I'm sharing with you my favorite techniques that I think have brought some of my journals in the past to the next level :) We are going to be using different media to create gorgeous and unique tabs for the edges of your pages, that will add so much interest!

I saw these tabs on your flip through videos and I tried to make them few days ago. I used watercolours but I painted like strips of colours. It didn't work out this much beautiful. I don't have a die cut machine or a circle punch. So I tried to cut them with scissors. There are some problems with the shape but it's okay 😅 I will definitely try your way next time. You can also sprinkle salt. It will lift the color giving you some neat effects.😊

Tabs are something i always forget about, but i love the look of them. been adding tabs in my bujo where each month start, and i wanted new ones/more designs but i couldn't find anything online.. guess i'll just make my own :D
