Thanks for the idea of a keeper on straight hook . What works to get fish down 15 to 25 feet to bite tried a crank bait in two different colors , then a spoon by hopping it up an let fall back no luck. What lure would you use to to compete with there was balls of bait fish too.

How about covering some jerkbait ins and outs. Most ppl say to me that a jerkbait is their biggest fear. I love em and I use em a hell of a lot. They are my confidence baits when the conditions are right. Been a bunch of times that a tough day has turned into a trophy or payday for me bc of the suspending jerks.( Suspend models mostly for me ). My all time fav is the Lucky Craft 78 or 100 SP but so many styles and brands to choose from. Once you grasp the techniques and ideology of the bait it becomes a force in your arsenal. Too many anglers don’t use them at all or not nearly enough bc they’ve never had success and have unincorporated it in their game. Big mistake in my opinion!! Maybe you can shed some light on this topic for the ones that have had little to no success with these fantastic fish catchers. Thanks for including ya kids in your time and videos. Great content that you cover. Would like to hear ya views , tips, and tactics that help you have success on jerks. 💯

Those kids are precious! Cute as can be! And I'm not a big bass guy, I like the saltwater. But I agree, if I only could have 1 bass lure it would be a worm. You can rig them lots of ways and they seem to work. I caught my first spotted bass, 3 64 lbs, on Lake Norman. It ate wacky rigged Lunker Log. And a couple days ago in Lake Rhodehiss in NC I caught one on a fluke and underspinner. I should try Texas rigged when I go back to the job on Lake Hickory.

The revo x is a great reel. I have a shimano curado DC 150 hg and I can tell you there is no reel that won't birdsnest. The revos design really helps with line lay. And that is just about the main reason you birdsnest
