I walked down the aisle to the original song. My husband left and abandoned his kids and my self this past November. And watching this video gave me closure. Almost opposite polls of what we were and now it's all just a memory of what we once were and had.

have to say this does the original justice, but more so it was a very good reminder why i started listening to "The Moth and The Flame" , I personally listen to different genres all the time but mostly for the idea of finding a sound that not only fits a mood but develops a mood , I listen to music to change my emotional status , to reminisce , to change my energy , and to help me truly contextualize life ..... Music is this beautiful language that i seem to be always discovering and i must thank artist like this who keep me with adventurous wonder even if its to lyrics of the past. why did i write this but i feel i shouldnt remove

A good cover doesn't just try to "beat" the original, it makes the song new, and they did that. They respect the source material, but made it their own. Good work. And the video, hm... my interpretation: sometimes in life, when we're alone, we feel like we're just broken down on the side of the road, until that we find that "special someone" who makes us feel like we're moving in the right direction finally. But then, sometimes that special someone disappears, for whatever reason, and so the person feels stuck on the side of the road of life again.

I’ll add Hurt covered by Johnny Cash, Running up that hill covered by Placebo, and the Sound of Silence covered by Disturbed to the list of songs that were covered and changed in a way to respect the original yet make it in a new way by the covering artist.

A covers should be so good that it makes you want to listen to the original because of how identical it makes you feel. Shockingly good. Had to comment twice about it on my first listen.
