Also thought i might mention we are not far off the time of year the tuna, mackerel, cobia etc start to fire up down the coast some should be caught real soon but itll really be next month and april to have the best odds you might have to come out the ledges for some landbased tuna and mackerel sessions once they fire up properly good fun species to catch the ole pelagics of autumn though you live up where you can pretty much do it all the time aye so maybe kings at jervis or something like that sometime i guess all im saying is im keen for more landbased action since i love it keep up the good work.

not sure exactly what his shoes are but myself i have tried regular joggers picking out the grippiest feeling ones they are an ok option. clogs/crocs in the high quality brands not the cheap full rubber ones these have proper straps or velcro and a full treaded supportive the semi fabric sided water shoes version shimano and crocs brand two companies i know do these they are better than joggers and last a long time i use these most of the time for my rocks shoes. dunlop volleys have some of the best grip you can get there is a reason that people who work on roofs (here in Australia at least) almost all wear volleys they stick the issue is they dont last either the soft grippy sole wears out quickly or the stitching gets abraded by the rocks and barnicles ant the shoe fails there is a point after a few weeks of fishing every fishable day where you start to worry the shoe failing so pack a spare set at that point or replace them early cos its shit walking 2+ kms back to the car over rocks and roots up a steep track with no cover on your foot realistically i give volleys 3-4 weeks reliability max. i don't know if Timmy will reply with what his shoes and experience with them are but if i hope maybe this gives something to consider at least i go with the crocs because i get a season or two out of them they do cost a bit though but volleys add up to more in my use experience the volleys are probably the grippiest i know of though.
