Kinga, as beautiful as you are, you should have some calenders made to make a little extra $. Hugggzzz May I suggest you clean and use some dielectric grease on your starter wires and make sure they're tight. Make sure you disconnect battery wires and clean them also and retighten.

Oh you lucked out with that salvaged starter. My experience running BMWs has been you pretty much must go to a Beemer mechanic due to parts supply and at time proprietary tools. There is a good reason why BMW stand for Bring More Wallet.
