If you watch the old karate fights (i reccomend any demetrius oaktree edwards fight) but youll hear the old announcers spewing propaganda how kicks to the legs are Soooo dangerous because they can end the fighters career permanently therefore not being good to the longevity of the sport, not realising a head kick can end your life even punches can

Low kicks not allowed in karate and tae kwon do is why muay thai fighters were more success early in mma.. other striking arts weren’t adapted to the pain and affects that it had… they should allow leg kicks..
