I can't help but brag that I was into PKD since 1975, aged 16, when no-one else had heard of him. I was saying back then that this was a unique writer, there should be movies of his work, he should be world famous. PKD was sometimes so poor he lived on dog food. When he died in 1982 no major media broadcasts or newspapers even reported it. I figured PKD was like Van Gogh or Kafka, only to be appreciated after they had died, when it was too late for them to benefit from. It only took 42 years for the rest of the world to catch on.

Since finding Phil ten years ago I have read most of his books and connected with Tessa through a friend Anthony Peake who wrote a very good biography about him titled The Man Who Remembered The Future. “Anecdotal evidence, which the skeptics so readily dismiss, is actually empirical observation and ought to be the beginning of investigation, not the end of it.” Tessa B Dick

Man, I wish his books were not so expensive. (Usually the ones that were made into a movie, the rest, it´s hard as hell to find them). For me, the real problem is, some libraries don´t have many books of his. I´m reading The world jonas made ( If that is the title in english) Very rare, but interesting.
