I would recommend using dzus fasteners on the panel over the fuel lines. Makes things nice when you have to work on it not having to jack it up to get to wiring, shifter cables, and lines. Should still block most fires that a fully welded panel would if it's rigid enough.

A suggestion for the exhaust is look at High Temperature Ceramic Powder Coating for the exhaust system. It is claimed to drop surrounding radiant heat by 30-60%. I did this to my leg roasting Ducati and it made a big change. Think of it as header wrap without the wrapping.

For hanging the banners you could use those clips to hold electrical tubes or however you call them. These clips can just slip on to the beams, and then you use a ziptie or something to hang the banners, so no drillingn needed!
