Guys don’t buy the claw. It literally is terrible right now. Maybe with updates it’ll get better but games don’t run well at all and it could be because Arc itself isn’t very good. It also can’t play the Arkham games unless you know how to dig into your settings

Asus has the worst customer support on the planet & wont help you or argue about the warranty if u need a replacement or anything else. its great till it breaks. (melting sd-cards compensation proves how they treat their customers. - "just dont plug them in lmao"). Overall the Steam deck get u still the best experience rn.

I love my Steam Deck and I can't imagine having a handheld PC without touchpads.. I play games at around 7W to 10W TDP and my battery lasts for about 3 to 5 hours.. So I might stay away from ROG Ally and MSI Claw for those reasons

It's a fact like he said the problem is the lack of optimization for the ARC platform, even now AMD drivers break my steam games including games that were made over 15 years ago more then Nvidia drivers or my AMD GPUs that have higher specs will perform worse then my Nvidia ones that have slightly lower specs, people need to stop hating on Intel. Giving AMD competition in the low-midrange gpu market and the APU market will make the entire PC space better.

@@xxneroxxx4996 how can you compare specs between two completely different architectures. Price to performance is the metric you look at and in that regard AMD is doing great. Also as a 7900XTX owner where are these so called driver issues you speak off? 7900XTX costs about the same as a 4070ti super in my country...it performs better than the 4080 in raster. As for the Intel cpu , The 8840u is the most efficient processor you can currently buy beating only by the m3 macs on performance per watt. It does it without cramming a bunch of shitty e cores into the die aswell.

Can't be done..... Problem is you lose too much efficiency by having a separate GPU in it. Nvidia might be more efficient with there DGPU but AMD have really nailed the APU segment. At 50-60w total power it might be possible but at that point it's basically a small laptop.

1. Don't get me wrong I love the steam deck and will be buying one as soon as I can but I don't like the playstation style control layout, that being I also haven't tried the steam deck because I don't own one so I might like it. But I've always been an Xbox controller user so I like having the D-pad below the left stick. 2. I think Steam Deck 2 releasing in 2 years is very optimistic, valve are clearly focusing on upgrading Steam OS and the chips are nowhere near good enough to provide a good session of gaming on a battery charge that lasts a decent amount of time, so my guess is 3-5 years for Steam Deck 2.

​@@Dean123123100 I own both. I'm not really to partial on controller styles as I enjoy both Xbox and PlayStation. I will say my steam deck is the most comfortable ergonomically. But my ally is a little smaller and lighter. I use them for different reasons as well. I also agree that two years for a deck 2 is pretty optimistic. With that being said they may need to be a little more bullish in the market especially if Xbox really is lining up to be releasing a handheld. Ah the perks of a competitive market 😊
