The Multitude and Great Tribulation | E47

Revelation chapter 7. We've already met 144,000 from the tribes of Israel. Now John focuses his attention on a multitude beyond count. We are told they are from the great tribulation and lost their lives for their witness of Jesus Christ. How does this align with what Jesus taught in Matthew 24 and the Olivet Discourse?
We're still in the sixth seal. We're going to discuss some difficult topics like the rapture of the church and a time of testing. Aren't Christians supposed to escape this difficult time in the end?
