This movie has EVERYTHING you want in a popcorn movie flick. Action, romance, swashbuckling, humor, little horror, little thriller and excitement. They really don't make them like this anymore, but if they do its a formulaic thing of what's hot in the moment. It's been 22 years and it's still a movie I can never get tired of.

THIS is how you do a trailer! The clips were so random and quick, I couldn't even piece the story together. Yet, I was till engaged to want to see more! Trailers now literally show the climax of the entire movie or the cgi scene that cost the most to make toward the end of the trailer. These were the best Mummy movies!

I worked for a trailer editing company for a while. I literally got in trouble for cutting trailers like this with random shots to help cover up the story. They told me I had to have a beginning, middle, and end basically showing the whole movie. Getting laid from the was a blessing, but yep some trailers now a days show the entire film.

Was 11 years when I first saw it, and I was amazed; it's still a classic and as good as Indiana Jones. My brother and I used to play the Mummy with our friends in a maze of townhouse yards. We even played the scenes where the doors are shutting at the end by slowly lowering plastic lids for lego bins; you had to race through the house and under the door before it closes. Good memories!

I remember exactly the first time I saw him. It was summer and I was at my grandmother's, I was 7 years old, the movie was on TV. I just saw this movie on Netflix. It is truly such a great movie worth watching. Great casting, great characters, amazing visual effects, not too scary for me, some cute romance and chemistry between evelyn and Rick, and the state of the art animation of the mummies-great instant classic, even though it's a remake of the 1932 version if the mummy. This, the matrix and Tarzan= best movies ever made in the year 1999. Also, one of the best movies produced by Universal pictures along with jurassic Park 1, Ted, the incredible hulk, Jaws 1, united 93 and the nutty professor 1 remake.

Actually, this is a much better 90's generic adventure film than the upcoming "The Mummy" 2017 reboot film which it's a going to suck mummy's balls. This is our best nostalgia 90's action/horror film which captures some pulp action, using a Universal monster reference, and you have great two leading actors were good. Brandon Frasier looks like a bad boy tough man and Rachel Weisz is a sexiest librarian that makes her very very pretty. NO ONE is not watching this 2017 reboot with another rehash of Tom Cruise's overuse action flick. Just cease to exist.
