Hatred for each other and evil is built into their genetic makeup, that is why those people can never thrive together anywhere and they remain firmly at the bottom of every society on the planet, they are the cursed people mentioned in the Bible, they'll eventually wipe themselves out all on their own without their enemies having to lift a finger against them.

I lost a brother in Iraq, and another in Afghanistan. The grief and anger I still live with today was enough to motivate me throughout my own journey overseas with the marine corps. I cannot imagine myself as any better than any of these guys. Broken hearted kids, numb and angry, willing to do anything to make it hurt a little less when those birthdays roll around. It’s sad, but as humans, it’s just in us. It sucks to see multiple communities and hundreds of families torn apart by the never ending cycle of vengeance, but at the end of the day, that’s life. We are humans. This will be in us until there are no more humans.

There's LOTS of fantastic irony in this saga. Like the fact Von dies instigating a FIST fight of all things. The ultimate rapper shooter savage, decides to throw hands wit Rollin 60s from GA. The fact that Durk was literally vibin' to Back In Blood on IG Live when he finds out Von got stretched. The fact that Vons dumbass decision got his bff T-roy's brother (Slutty) murdered. The fact Slutty's gun jammed as he bouta head-tap Lul Tim. The fact that Von caused OBlock Louie to take a headshot *eerily similar* to Wooski.

The crazy irony is the amount of self snitching that occurs. It used to be that if you wanted to get away with a crime, you wouldn't say anything about your involvement and try to make yourself as inconspicuous as possible. Hell, even try to leave town. These days, the police don't have to do much investigating given the amount of people telling on themselves.
@ellomate..
@ellomate.. 9 ай бұрын
the thing that blows my mind is when people complain about why police get frustrated with neighbourhoods like this… but these dudes are lost. nothing can be done for them. it’s sad but true. i wish everyone could find peace and be a better person but these type of humans are more harmful and dangerous to be on this planet with functioning society members. 10000% product of their environments and their parents are heavily to blame. so many people having kids when they can’t even take care of themselves.

You have to understand a lot of this is generational, coming from broken homes, not having the right elders or environment around you. This is the legacy left behind from the crack/ drug era, still playing out today. A lot can be done, but the willigness alongside policy and investment in public programs, after school, having the right teachers plus community values around to do so is another thing. In Von's case I don't think anything could have been done for him, he seemed like a right sociopath.

To be leaders and focus on education and not only traditional but self. I'll be in their lives and PRESENT to lead them in the best way I know how. When I finished watching this, I just felt so down and depressed man. This is such a depressing life these people live, so many young people have died in such a short space of time to the point each one is just a statistic. People like King Von are glamourised even though this man is a psychopathic serial killer, same with many other people from Chicago. I genuinely cannot believe people live this lifestyle. What is more crazy for me to think is that, just a 5 minute drive from parkway gardens/63rd is University of Chicago, where students live happily, enjoy life and educate themselves for a better future. Crazy how two different worlds are 5 minutes apart.

I expected a little more at the end, he could have shown how the families have been ruined. Duck's mom has lost 2 sons and a daughter and a nephew Coby HK, T.Roy and Slutty's mom lost 3 sons and a nephew Zell who she raised like a son. LA Capone's mom lost her son and her other son is now hated by his ex friends for snitching. Wooski has brain damage and his brother Big Mike is who went to prison for the murder King Von did with him, they were opps with their own brother. Cdai and Edai one dead on in prison for a long time. Lil Durk brother and cousin were killed. It's a mess of a situation where hundreds of families have been destroyed with their sons dead or locked up until they are old men or forever for petty nonsense since they were kids.

If he would have died in the hood, they wouldn’t had did all they did to get them and sad as it is, ITS DA TRUTH

The saddest part is that, after losing their mill ticket, Von's team doubled down on the "we still here" "we still killas" aint nothing changed with them, they didn't learn anything from that tragic night in November. At least when we lost Pac and Big, the entire hip-hop community came together at Minister Farrakhan house and came to an agreement 🤝🏿 to stop the beef. I Wonder if these new guys have the maturity to do something like that?

Him attacking a crip over the stolen death row chain. The fact he got M-O-B member of bloods and MOB fricken Piru tattooed on him. Then he got killed for it. He should have never associated with them. “Neckbone, Tre, Heron, Buntry too Big Rock got knocked, but this one's for you”. Literally all MOB Piru gang members. Tre or Tray is Trayvon Lane the fool who pointed Anderson out for stealing his chain. It was real street beef. It’s just that it was a crip and blood beef. Biggies involvement only comes from second hand guess work because biggie or diddy hired crips as bodyguard alleged or that Diddy offered a bounty to crips for Suge/PAC to be killed. That’s where it’s foggy. But as far as the main reason PAC got killed is obvious. He got involved in gang drama.

hmm idk about not picking sides. In this vid TLR is clearly moved by Ms. Duck, maybe its because its specifically about FBG duck but he doesn't seem near as impartial as gds vs bds or 300 vs jojo vids. Looking at this you would think those BD's were demons and not also retaliating just because their mom isn't on camera defending them after they passed. I mean Ms. Duck believed her son to be feared for a reason and that seemed kinda glossed over for a hit piece on O-block members.

So much respect for Ross and what he's done here. This wasn't just another click bait video fetishizing gang culture. You can really see a better understanding of the conflict in chicago and compassion that most people lack on this subject. I can admit that I've been listening to these songs for so long with only a slight clue of how much of it was really true and never really knew the facts. I remember the first Von song I heard and my first thought was he isn't gonna last long. Something about the detail in the shit he was saying and the sheer disregard. A few months later he was dead. Shit is truly sad. Him and Duck could have done so much with their lives and been happy but at this point I can't even say I don't see why this lifestyle makes sense to them and people like them. All they know is violence and death. Think about how long you've been hearing the "smokin tooka" line in rap. It's been a long ass time man. I probably just found out what it was actually about within the last year but he was 15 when he got killed. 15! He was a kid! This shit has been going on so long that years later you still have grown men referencing the murder of a child as a diss. No wonder the the only thing that's important to them is get back. It's easy to judge if you don't live that life and can't understand it. Imagine living with all that loss and the constant threat of death looming over you. Just a fucked up situation and I feel for everyone involved.

@@litneyloxan there are plenty of folks that come out of the hood and live productive lives where they aren’t a burden on society. There’s no reason to give folks an excuse to do whatever they want because they grew up in “the ghetto”. Plenty of folks have it way worse in other parts of the world, and a lot of those folks live productive lives instead of being murderous scumbags. It’s sad for their parents and any innocents who miss them; but these “kids” are criminals who destroy their own community while stupid people cheer and line up to buy their garbage music. I pray that those who are still in that life see the light instead of continuing to WASTE their lives like they’re doing today.

His mom talking with pride about how the pain music n shit is because of her just makes me sick Tells you that mama duck had say so and could've pleaded like hell with her boys to stay out the street so that they wouldn't become victims to begin with. She was living off the clout her son had n it shows in her interviews. I own a gun and wouldn't even tell my mom Abt it mostly because im 17 but also because i know how my mom thinks of me and im not gang affiliated just keep it for protection but if she told me to get it out her house i would. Let alone making music videos holding firearms...my ass woulda been beat.. Point is, you can tell how the majority of these young men were raised based on their actions Infront of a camera which they know their peers will see, whether that be friends, family or ppl they know in the city.
