I have seen an old timer wrap bearing in a wet towel and microwave them to install. Every 100 Fahrenheit in raise of temperature expands steel 0.01” supposedly.

Yeah, i think any truck made after 89 had 30 spline. Before then, they were 28 spline. I might be wrong about the years.

Nice looking 67 or 68 Camaro 2 of my first cars that I had was a 65 Impala SS 327 2 speed powerglide white car red interior and a 1970 Nova blew motor put in a 327 then end up having to sell it looking for another they were first cars when I was 16 fun cars to have Nova had a limited slip with air shocks on the rear like ur tires hit valve suspension goes all the way down put air compressor to it jack the rear end back up pretty cool old school

Yeah, definitely needs more ads, 1 ad for every 2min of video. lol, Thank god for ad blockers from AD Block and AD Block Plus when I watch on computer but sucks when I watch on Apple TV. Are you planning on redoing the video so where the music doesn't override the tech talk? Also, why do you cut out the actual work you do like pressing out the old lug bolts and pressing in the new? That's the whole reason I watch, is to see the actual work behind the truck.

i have a Detroit truetrac and i love it when i get out of a corner and smash the throttle it fishtails crazy. I only got a 350 with headers and people think I have a hopped up engine with 400hp. The truetrac is aggressive when you need it to, but doesn't forgive at time. Another thing it's quiet

For everyone asking how did you get 5x5 pattern. These wheels are race stars . They are not your 5x5.4 drag pack you find from jegs or summit. I run the same racestars on my 454ss from 1320 wheels

Just look in the glovebox and you'll find the RPO codes. This tells you everything in that GM.

I couldnt tell but the wheel studs need to go into the head of the lugnut. If just the shank is holding its weak and unsafe.

Have you considered camaro brake swapp? 98-03 rear disc assembly ought to fit in exchange of the drum assembly. Supposedly you have to pull the axles

Yes they will fit but you’ll need to notch the rear fenders.. or roll them. They will rub bad without some clearance! They are 15x10 rear and 17x7 fronts. Check out 1320 wheels online. They will do you right on the setup.

@@DAGOLFER34 the first time I did it I had to take it off like 5 times it was a pain in the ass I still dont know if I did it right or not. Haven't tested it out. Truck still under construction. U think I should put the additive in there? Before hand or after I was tool change the oil after 5k and only add the additive if it starts to make noise
