The Mushroom Pylon! | Terraria 1.4

I apologize for the dip in sound quality partway through the video! It seems my sound mixer is having some feedback issues. Hopefully the quality isn’t too bad!
It’s time to tackle the mushroom pylon! I wanted to do something different than a glowing mushroom house, and I also wanted it to differ from what I did during the Buildy Bunch series, and the first thing that came to mind was from the Elder Scrolls!

I do have an idea for the Hallow Build, which I tried to a lesser extent before and I though it looked really nice - it could look like a geode, sort of embodying the Hallow’s crystal shards, with maybe some other sort of structure on/near it to complement it.

The mushroom House looks amazing! So weird but in a good way, like some forest or hill that was killed and overgrown by fungi. What I think would be a cool idea for a Hallow biome is a little different than normal. What if you made a canyon with mini Hallowed forests on either side, and then have the canyon dip down into the area with the cave pylon! Since both are crystal related it would be cool to see maybe a sort of origin for why the cave is infested with crystal trees and the sorts. For houses it could be a wizard tower or fallen giant tree that's turned into a giant fairy log, but the main thing about the build would be the canyon dipping into the crystal caves. This might be a bit much so either way the Hallow build will be great. Can't wait to see what you do as the build!

I freaking LOVE TES III: Morrowind, so the second that you mentioned the Telvanni, I got so excited! Your builds always blow me away, and this one was DEFINITELY no exception. The drop in audio quality was noticeable but not at all distracting for me personally, and you were totally comprehensible even despite the technical issues. Plus the build really drew me in so much that I forgot you were even experiencing problems until you mentioned it again toward the end of the video, haha. Hope you're enjoying making this amazing content as much as we enjoy watching it!

The house looks really good, I've never played morrowind, but have played the dragonborn DLC for skyrim and it really captures that vibe the houses there give off. It's a bit of a strange suggestion, but for the hallowed pylon it would be so cool if the house was a giant shoe, like from that nursery rime

I can barely wait to start playing this map, Hallow build Idea, An overly over the top Pretty Pink Princess themed castle, A room just for tea parties, and manequins and womaniquins for a dressing room, reserve a room at the tallest room in the tallest tower for the princess, and other than that, party girl nurse etc. basically an overblown Pink and white themed castle, dressing room, tea party room, and a gaudy treasure room. Possibly surrounded by a boiling lake of lava, for good shrek 1 vibes

This is my absolute favorite pylon. I think that your choice to mix the normal forest with the mushroom background gives it this fairytale aesthetic that’s very pleasing to the eye. I think in the spirit of fairytale’s with the hallow. I think it would be cool to make a hobbit hole. I think that it would be cool to see a water mill somewhere in the build. Great job as always.

I think the Hallowed pylon should be about a crystalline cave, involving geodes and crystals sticking out of the ground. I would like to see a build like this because I love the look of geodes and crystals all together.

To me using an iPhone 11 Pro Max, the audio just sounds like it’s in a cardboard roll/tube with that strange hollow/echo sound. Not the greatest, but definitely watchable and doesn’t hurt the ears! Also I love the Pylons Build series! You’ve inspired me to jump back into Terraria! ❤️

The difference caught me off guard at first, but the audio isn't really a problem. For the hallow building, maybe do a witch tower hidden behind a mountain or something? Kind of like in tangled but with a spin to blend better in the hallow.

Audio is different, but not bad. Probably not an idea you'd want to use but the hallow is rainbow-y. Rainbows I relate to the Wizard of Oz. There are many different parts of Oz, so much to choose from. Love the Morrowind tie in and the build is spectacular as always.

It might be a little too NPC focused, but an enchanted and magical fantasy tavern for the Hallow would be interesting, since it's the Barkeep's preferred biome. Maybe have a basement leading to a mineshaft for the demolitionist.
