Who's listening in 2021 and thinking that this is probably the best rock band of modern times?
@JorgeMunoz-qv9tc2 жыл бұрын
its my favorite band , this is the most underrated band ever, i love them.
@innocentFront2 жыл бұрын
Probably? No, they most definitely are!!! I'm still listening in 2022, 20 years after falling in love with them and the love only grows stronger. I'm so lucky to have seen them at Barras and Leeds this year. 2 gigs that will never be surpassed.

I think I've been listening to music for 15 years. and I think that in the last ten, this song seemed to me the least powerful of the band. and that's that when it sounded on mtv it was the most commercial of them. and I always believed that there were more powerful things about them. and no, it is the best. for something I fell in love with this band with him. The commercial is the medium that sells us. not the band. This song reflects them, represents them perfectly. thanks to the time to give us the opportunity to redeem and redeem ourselves.

Really Loved this band, saw them in the real early days but being totally honest it was songs like this that made me have my doubts start to creep in along with “float” and even the people, initially they had a very underground sound that couldn’t be described as commercial at all ,for me the first “take the long rd single with walls get smaller and the first “ you might as-well” ep, was them at their very best creatively, of course the first album is incredible but i was expecting a little more going off the eps , I still like this tune and the people but they were very different to what they initially sounded like with their dark sinister instrumentals and songs like the dance/ human / too high etc which for me are some of the greatest songs ever written , I know Tim their manager felt “getaway” wasn’t that special as they talked about it on a podcast but a lot of people do love it so it good it went on the album but it was a bit formulaic I think … they went even further off track with songs like freedom fighters and breaking on the second album but for a couple of years they were the most exciting band in the world I think , real special
