Nice to see this after so many years. Too bad they didn't explain the background of the violin parts. Lots of people were fascinated by it, but most didn't get to know it was based on classical indian violin playing techniques, known as "carnatic violin".

no...jonathan was the man for the job. agreed..it would be cool to imagine what trent would bring to this project. BUT it would’ve damaged his career hard. it would’ve cramped his style for lack of better word. plus trent is a control freak....he wouldn’t have had artists like Chester, Wayne Static, or even Manson involved if trent did this....he would just be a cheesy vampire movie trent reznor show as opposed to the great soundtrack that we received this was a perfect chance for jonathan to branch out and have some fun...plus he was freshly sober around the time of this...so it probably helped him with that as well.....

Possibly one of the best soundtracks ever made. It's mad to think there's a whole generation that doesn't know this film even exists. So many legendary artists contributed to this film from Jonathan Davies to Aaliyah to Chester Bennington etc... It really is magnificent. It's a cult classic, it was glam goth, cool and sexy in the era of nu-metal. It made an impact on me as a teenager, it was transforming. A lot of people had negative reviews on this film but I absolutely love it. It's one of my favourite vampire films along with the blade trilogy. No one has achieved making vampire films as captivating, sexy and nuance as these. I'd pick this film over twilight any day.
