Hi there. I want to try a clip on ND filter for my 15pro max. I don't want to buy a new case or invest in expensive filters. I already have tons of variable NDs from 52mm, 55mm, 67mm etc..I do worry about the clip on puting to much pressure on the screen of my shinny 15pro max...which clip on do you recommend? The Sandmarc is ok. Something a bit more budget-I would use it occasionally. Thanks

What if you record in 60 fps with high shutter speed? The stutter is gone. Any disadvantages?

Really just depends on what kind of image your after. People don't mind the lack of blur these days because they're so used to seeing it, but for a more cinematic image, this will help for sure!

Great review. Love the clear examples! Do you think the filter would better fit on the iPhone 13 pro if it was on a sandmarc case instead of the clip or is it just the glass is not big enough?

The case is great but the trade off is you need to screw it in to each particular lens. The clip is more flexible because you can reposition it faster, but you need to be careful to centre it.

Good work! Yes, it is really a must have! And actually also a Mist-Filter to reduce the sharpness and the darker edges, but the Polar Pro is not yet available for the iPhone 13 and I don't know if it good as the Sandmark is...

Nice video. Which one you suggest Sandmarc or Litechaser Pro in terms of quality?If we use these filters post production work is must?

Hi Mahesh. I can't say I've used the Litechaser Pro, so I can't comment on the quality difference. I can say that most variable ND filters I've used do have some form of colour cast though. Whether you want to spend time correcting it later is up to you but the Sandmarc filter is pretty controlled in this area.

how big is the clip? will it only fit over the sandmarc cases or will the clip work over most iPhone cases?

I would say depends on your phone. With the 13 Pro, even without a case it was struggling to cover all the lenses but with a 12 or lower, you might have better luck using it with a case.

What’s the pressure like on the screen? I don’t like the idea of having the filter clamped down on the screen like that.

Thankfully quite minimal! The clip is also rubber so it shouldn’t scratch your display.

PolarPro make some great products. I haven't used their iPhone filter system but it's also only for the iPhone 11 line and requires the full case as well. The Sandmarc products with a clip are a little more flexible!

Thankfully the clip is rubberised, so no it doesn't!
