Glad you're getting the word out with this video! I have the v1 fabric face pad and can confirm that with the studioform spacer kit it hugs my face just like my G2 does, really comfortable. Apache strap spreads the weight out very nicely. Now to order the v2 for that XL face pad softness.

I use an original Crystal. The Apache strap, counterweight and thicker face pad are the only way it’s remotely comfortable for me. I have the Pimax 15mm pad, but this is at least as good.

Man, at 7:43 you look like a monster from HL Alyx. 😅 I think the Apache strap gives this sensation. But I know, this is the price we pay to have the best visual these days - a bulky headset. Too bad that Meta didn't realease a PCVR headset like Quest 3, but using the Quest Pro panel with double the resolution and moving the battery to the back. Meta doesn't know what we want.

I wish they made the fabric strap that came with the 5K, i dont like the hard plastic headstrap despite I own the crystal, i prefer the cheap velcro fabric strap

any idea if this will help with lens distortion? messed with all sorts of IPD and settings. have a weird blur/warp center vision. but top/ bottom is clear. hoping this helps or ill need new lenses :/

I had to heavily mod my Crystal as it just fits terribly. By default it is painful. I needed at least 30mm foam. which decreased my FoV. Even with top strap, this thing sucks for comfort imho.

@@mixedrealityTV I have ordered the Studio Form. Its on the way. I also ordered some VR prescription lenses. I hope this improves things for me, because I must have a skinny head. The PCL is way too wide for me. I hope the comfort levels improve with these two additions. At this point I regret my purchase of the PCL.
