Definitely agree with stiffness. But the type you have varies from vehicle. Mines a 2020 gmc 1500 and my sumo springs is just bolt ons. Super easy to install or remove when needed, the way you wanted it. My preference is to leave it on when going off road, made a big difference when I went 40mph on bumpy dirt and gravel roads.

Ok, great job! Liked what you thought at the end. Honest! Looks like a good product for tow but heavy off road, Maybe not so. thanks

Excellent video. I installed Bilstein 5100 all around the front went up 2” and I installed a 1” block in the rear. Also went with 265/75R/16 Toyo tires AT3. This video made me understand why I shouldn’t go with Sumo springs in the rear meaning not to get the ones that are made for a 1”-6” rear and just get the regular ones, but I did get the ones for the front today but haven’t installed them yet. If you can please reply your opinion on it, not planning to tow anything just for some light trails and camping off the trail.

If you are not going to tow or have a lot of weight they will basically just be used as bump stops and limit roll. Shouldn't affect the ride much except during turns and hard hits. Go for it!

Take a look at the Daystar Air Bag Cradle. I have them on my gen 1 Tacoma and I love them.

I’m sure I missed it somewhere. But do you have the pdf plans for the trailer you built? I have looked at so many trailers and NONE come close the quality and design of yours.
@infosponge2 жыл бұрын
None available. The trailer frame video has the frame dimensions. My 3D model is still a work in progress as I finish out the interior.

Would you like to compare the Archive Garage Traveler Add-a-leaf that allows full bump travel?

Sure, I'd give them a try.

Get 2 pairs and cut 1 set 50% or so. As for me I tow every now and then and no real off roading so it’s PERFECT for me.

How does your truck ride when you are not towing?

Hardly notice them.

How is the ride quality when driving unloaded? I heard there is a big rebound almost like a bounce when hitting a bump. Have you experienced this?
@infosponge Жыл бұрын
Not too bad but definitely more harsh on bumps. It would be nice to remove them for unloaded conditions. I have Bilstein 5160’s so that probably helps dampen the rebound.
@huronv9500 Жыл бұрын
It is more harsh on bigger bumps for sure. I don't tow much, but if I am going to tow a heavy load I install them, it really only takes about 5 minutes.
