Because of what Joel did to Mitchell Robinson in the playoffs this year, I now dislike him greatly. He is a dirty player and his play style is not what his body can manage. Also his play-style just doesn’t work in the playoffs. If a team built around him can’t get in the conference finals even once, that’s a sign the star players style just can’t work. Last year it was him and harden, when both underperformed, people started to blame Harris. Like we don’t already know he is well overpaid for his production. Also, Ben Simmons covered a lot of their issues as a defender and ball handler and as crazy as it may seem, the sixers are not even better off without him

Embiid is a Porzingis-like guy. Not saying in terms of skill, but in terms of durability. Neither player can stay healthy reliably enough to build a team around. His best chance of making it is to do what KP did and sign as the #2 or #3 guy on a really good team. The Celtics are much better when KP plays, but they have the star power and depth to win when he injured. Therefore, Porzingis is like great icing on a cake...he makes the whole thing look and feel much better, but he isn't required for success. Embiid needs a similar situation, a place where he's a star and makes the team much better, but where the team isn't built around him and therefore can win when he is hurt.

I've been saying for years how awful a playoff player Embiid is. It's not just the injuries. The conditioning is a huge part of it too. There's a reason he always starts games well and is terrible in the 4th quarter. He's simply not in good enough shape to play a full playoff basketball game.
@maniravsadhur84097 ай бұрын
His foul-baiting is relevant because while it works fine during the regular season, it stops working entirely in the playoffs, which partly explains why he's so underwhelming in the postseason. When referees don't help him, it suddenly becomes more difficult in the fourth quarters of hard-fought games, and he disappears.
@maxwellrauchut79267 ай бұрын
To be fair, he also has to play a lot more in the 4th quarters and is gassed/injured. Compare that to the regular season when he was healthy and blowing out teams allowing him to sit the 4th out a lot of nights.

Steve Nash's career was straight up cursed. He got traded away from the Mavericks just as he was breaking out. His nose got smashed one year, Amar'e got suspended for David Stern reasons another year, and they lost Joe Johnson as he broke out. Then, his move to the Lakers saw Kobe go down, and Dwight played with a very injured back before leaving. Then he had to coach the three ladies, whom I'll not name, who truly belong in the WNBA more than the NBA. I hope he wins as a coach soon. Derrick Rose was even more cursed. One injury took almost everything he had away. Then he had LeBron's big 3 in his way after returning. But he truly wasn't himself anymore. Now he's just a really good role player. I hope he wins one before retiring.

His career in Philly is over they should send him packing and let the 76ers go 20 wins and 62 that is where they will be.

Im a celtics fan from boston, but this made me lol, "if your a sixer fan you can let it go/see why", yr after yr of excuses for a loser of a player on a losing organization, Embiid cares about his mvps not titles

Very gifted but injury prone player who has spent his whole career in a poorly run organization. He is his generation's TMac.

He always gets hurt chasing awards then when he tries playing hurt turns into a turnover machine and refs don't give him the same calls as in the regular season
