Just and example: In Mahabharata there is no mention of the Paṇḍavas crossing from a globe-shaped Earth to the mainland of Jambudvip. They just kept travelling north on our flat Earth plane from India and reached Gandhamadana Mountain on Jambudvip.

@@aashkashah3 I struggle to find good translations, just like everyone else. Much of what I do is based on the comments of great acaryas on the Vaishnava line. I found it's more reliable.

No Grahas (planets) are mentioned in the shastra as our Earth or as these inhabited realms. Lokas are mentioned. Lokas mean realms and planes. We live on a flat plane. Also Lord Brahma lives on a plane, not a spinning ball in space. Brahma Samhita should be taken literally. Krishna doesn't live on a ball, upside down sticking to it. So foolish to imagine it like that. Krishnaloka is not a planet. That is why it is not called Krishnagraha. Read the Sanskrit verses carefully. Krishnaloka resembles a lotus flower that is surrounded by an ocean of milk.

What I'm confused about is whether the earth rotates around the sun or the sun around the earth? I don't know if it's explicitly clear in the Bhagavatam, but I know in the Rig Veda and Surya Siddhanta, the earth rotates around the sun. Can you please clear this up for me? 🕉️🌎
