I feel so fortunate that I was able to ride Desperado several times along with the epic target shooting log flume when I stayed for the weekend at Buffalo Bills in 2004. I really do hope this record breaking Arrow will reopen someday, and I will definitely make the drive to stateline NV/CA to marathon it when it hopefully does roll trains again.

I rode it back in 2008 and loved it. I mean it does have “janky” transitions like all Arrow Dynamics coasters but still fun! I also rode the log flume inside, which I’m guessing was an Arrow as well! Hope you eventually get the credit!

Don't sweat it, bro, it's only Arrow's biggest coaster. (X2: Eat your heart out, if only you had one.) Here's the punchline: Steel Phantom had a bigger drop of 228' 3 years earlier.

Desperado is one of my favorite coaster ever.I first rode it leaving Vegas 12hrs after Tupac was shot on the Strip. Since then I've rode it easily over 75x

Was in Buffalo Bills today. Desperado still closed. BB’s used to be such a lively, energetic atmosphere. Today it’s looking a little run down and sad 😢

If this was any other state except Nevada then I would say it would open, however we all know what happened with the other 200ft coaster speed

Wow! I went thru this Casino in the early 2000s (if I remember correctly) on a road trip from Vegas to L.A. And I sorta, kinda, really wanted to ride this thing. I chose not to b/c I was just stopping for lunch but now I'm regretting that decision. It's a pretty crazy sight when driving thru the desert in the middle of nowhere!

Desperado wasn’t the first hyper coaster by arrow dynamics. That was achieved by Cedar Point’s Magnum XL200

I got on this opening year!! It was soooo good!!! By the way...got my first new coaster credit in like 15 years. That's what happens when you have kids,lol. Got on GaleForce like 3 hours ago. Very fun and almost lost my glasses, lol l!!

What about the other rides st Buffalo Bill's? I know they also have a log ride and an S&S drop tower. What happened to those rides?

You said you know more about the ride. No it’s not going to open. 2023 buffalo bills did open, you can stay & gamble At bills. The other two casinos no hotel staying but you can gamble. And the coaster ride will not open soon. I know for a fact because I’m a regular. I l get really good coups. And to the casinos on the strip.

We should try to get a group of enthusiasts and see if they are willing to let us rent it out for a day or even better… Get a group together and try to beat the world record for longest time on a roller coaster ever. I think it would bring them enough media attention to even help them re open the whole property.
