Everyone I've seen so far hasn't learned how to pass through their partners yet. For reference, hold B while walking into them to switch places. Pushing like Failboat was doing drains your belly really fast.

Yeah, I only knew that because I played Super. It's weird that the game doesn't tell you this since it's such an important mechanic. I still don't understand why you don't switch places with your partner by default and have to press B to push them; it's confusing, especially for veterans of the series, and I still sometimes find myself wasting belly and turns pushing my partner when I meant to switch places with them.

Get Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky after this one, it's the sequel to Rescue Team and the best game in the series. It is worth it for the story alone, even if you don't like the different battle system. Also, this game has Mega Evolution, which is a big plus since it's not in the main series.

@@AuraKumo104 Agreed on the Explorers of Sky part. It had such a huge post game too. Some of the most fun I've had with pokemon. After Black 2 and White 2 I've stopped following the series but I'm still always down for a new mystery dungeon game. Another spin off that needs a sequel or remake is Pokemon Conquest, another amazing game and probably my favourite Pokemon game period.

I have the DS version of the original, and was not expecting them to reveal a Dungeon in that Direct. I downloaded the Demo, and did the questionnaire, and then it got my personality spot on, called me out on mashing A, and handed me Eevee as the playable character, aka the Pokémon I was gonna select regardless of the test results. I selected Cubone as my partner, which if I recall correctly is not possible in the original and I immediately fell in love with the art style. If you ask me, this is the best version of these games, and can’t wait to learn more about it.
