Cops did this stuff in Ashland KY too, as far as scanning license plates on parked cars. One night I caught the local jailer peeping through my bedroom window at 11pm at night. He said he could do whatever he wanted bc my license plates said they were from Ohio. I had only moved from Ohio to Kentucky two weeks before. I called the chief of police about it and he said yes, Dean could look into my windows and even come into my house at anytime he wanted bc my plates were from Ohio and I was committing tax evasion. I called the state police, and they said he absolutely could not do this legally. We must always stand up for our rights in face of corruption, but we may not always win...

I live in the Fresno Madera area and I remember seeing this guy's post and blowing them off thinking they're not going to hurt him then when I found out he actually died from stab wounds to the back abc30 news had reported about it and I remember questioning them and telling them they should further investigate the suspicious death of John Lang they responded by telling me that John langs death was reportedly suicide.. I responded by saying how does someone stab themselves in the back they never commented back... Then after that my social media posts about the issue seem to just disappear off of my accounts!! Suspicious phone calls.. shit was crazy...

People do need to know the alternate to this theory. That being delusional paranoia. Now I have no "correct" theory, but if you look into him, you see many things that fit into mental illness symptoms. For starters the way he describes many things are textbook examples of what someone with delusional paranoia would say. He describes "a man following me at a distance in a baseball cap, smiling at me, as if mocking me and confirming he is following me". That is one of the most common delusions a delusional paranoid person may experience. He makes many loose connections as well. Such as the fact that he describes someone talking on the phone at a supermarket, and that must be them talking to another member of the PD currently breaking into his house, despite him never finding anything wrong in his house. There are many examples of his "observations" being less than concrete and more fear based speculation. The other thing is much of the evidence he has is not quite as strong as he says. The camera for instance is not a thermal camera, but a DSLR type film camera. It also just so happens that there is a film studio near by. And that reportedly those people in the camera van are just art students. Other things such as the truck driving by, well that's as much proof as when someone pulls into your driveway then turns around to leave, it isn't likely anything more than someone navigating around. There's also the circumstances around his death. Reportedly in the investigation video was found of him holding a knife, showing it to a camera, and then turning the camera off. It's also noted he boarded up his house which made fire rescue have a very difficult time breaking in. And the findings of the coroner were not that the stab wounds were in the back, that was just an error by the media. The original report says the stab wounds were in the front. Which is totally possible in a suicide. A major issue is his predication. Despite there not being a massive development in the harassment, he immediately predicts he will die in the next two days. Then that night. He would have no way of knowing that. Plus if it was an actual conspiracy, the PD would have been watching his social media activity, and wouldn't have killed him the same day he said they would kill him. I'm not saying nothing happened here. I for one do believe the PD did intimidate him. But many psychologists cite how someone with paranoia disorders will take small things that are true, and blow them up to massive proportions. I don't doubt the PD did have some intimidation against him, but I think he imagined a scenario worse than it was. Someone with paranoid delusions or even schizophrenic paranoia could very well take their own life. In a delusional state he could have decided the best course of action is to kill himself before they got him, and to make it look like it was them. In fact it isn't unheard of for schizophrenic people to fake their own death in a marriage to make it look like their spouse did it, so they would be blamed. So this behavior lines up incredibly well. Plus the lack of any real social life, the whole anonymous thing, the lack of putting his face online even before the incident, that all does hint towards possible paranoid thinking. Also many do question how huge he makes the situation out as, when all he did was write about suspected illegal acts to his local newspaper, with little proof at all. Hardly a whistleblower, and definitely not so destructive to the PD that they would kill him even with him constantly talking about it and blaming them online. As a whole there is evidence to suggest that he was murdered. There is evidence to suggest it was paranoia induced suicide. We won't ever get a conclusive answer on it. All I can say is most of the evidence is very easily explainable, line up exactly to how someone with a mental illness would perceive it, or is just circumstantial.

I live 1 hour away from Fresno and the weird thing I've noticed is the cops in my town are somewhat the same, I remember on this Facebook page where boomers and people from my town are in (kinda like a news thing for the town) I did a post saying something along the lines of "Why don't our cops do anything in this town besides flirting with girls at Fastrip" only for it to be deleted the next day lol. My apartments had a couple of robberies and the manager nor the cops didn't do anything about it which is very odd because many had an idea by who it could've been but the cops excuse was "we need a warrant" my ass. John Lang must've known something more than this. It's so BS we gotta deal with this sort of thing in California

The more I read into it the more it sounds like the story presented here isn't really true, and that this man had a background in the "gang stalking" conspiracy theory and exhibited pretty paranoid behavior when you actually go over his content and hear what he thinks is actually happening (a neighbor unlocking a gate was only pretending and blocking his path, a man driving a van wearing a hat was mocking him, etc). Having experienced paranoid disorders firsthand much of this is very consistent with the kinds of delusions people will have in misinterpreting what is going around them. The house was apparently barricaded from the inside out and it sounds like the guy got so distressed from this paranoia that he took his own life. Yeah, I know, sheeple, etc, but the story in this video just doesn't make much sense and there are so many logical inconsistencies - why would they kill him by burning his house down and stabbing them? Why would people step out of a car with a thermal camera? It's a fun story but as corrupt at the police can be I can't imagine how feasible it'd be for them or some affiliated group to blatantly murder a man in such a manner

The more I read about this I have to agree. I find it hard to believe the Fresno PD would waste so much time and effort trying to intimidate someone over scanning license plates (which is perfectly legal) and online comments. I posted an article from the Fresno Bee saying the "stab wounds" were to his chest and abdomen and appeared superficial and self inflicted. The evidence for this being some murder conspiracy seems pretty thin at best.

I wasn't familiar with this case until now but I read up on it after watching this video. Whether ScareTheatre's side of the story is what really happened or not, they intentionally left out a significant amount of history suggesting that John lang suffered from schizophrenia and paranoia and that he might very well have comitted suicide after fabricating a narrative of conspiracy against him. I'm not saying that's what happened and I don't want to encourage anyone to disregard the possibility that the events took place the way ScareTheatre laid them out. Instead I'd like anyone to research the case on their own but I must say that I lost a lot of respect for ScareTheatre today for their sensationalized, one-sided coverage.

I agree. I looked into the reports as well. There's a lot of evidence this was a suicide. He had cameras running inside his house, showing him walking around with a knife, turned the cameras off the day before his death. Not to mention his house being boarded up from the inside...

What's super weird about this is that my childhood best friend lived directly across the street on Van Ness I also lived down the street. So that same best friend helped me out when I got out of hustling and leading a bad life I moved to Portland to escape my ways and forced myself to stop being a dip shit, my friend got me into PC gaming and I honestly think it saved my life and kept me on a straighter path he later asked if I would move back to Fresno and work on beats, code, and a small indie game and live with him and my little brother who was his roommate at the time so my "friend" drove to Portland picked me up and brought me down here. Things went good the first week then I noticed my brother was now always coked out and I wouldn't stand for it after getting out of the drug game and explained to him how selling almost ruined my life and that using seemed even worse and that I was worried about him. My little brother freaked out started talking tons of shit about how I was a loser and how I used to hustle so my opinion didn't matter he called the cops and had me leave the apartment since I wasn't on the lease later on my "friend" got him evicted due to him now bringing weird people over and always being coked out. When my brother moved out I stayed in the room he was in and got a job later on one day when leaving the complex parking lot there were five guy in a car starring at me while I was leaving so I look at them and was like what's up? All car doors opened at the exact same time right there I knew either something or someone from my past was about to catch up with me and I knew I was either about to get smoked or jumped when they all approached me one man said sir what's ur name that's when I said I don't know or recognize you he the. Showed me a badge so then I was like fuck I have to give him my info I told him my name and he just looks at the other cops and said that's not him and told me I was free to go. Later on the next day about 60 Homeland security agents we're going through my whole apartment when I got home I immediately asked what's going on then he told me my friend was wanted for a child porn case on the dark web that was nation wide and got super hostile and litteraly asked if I wanted any problems and that if I didn't walk about id be getting myself into some shit to not like as far as legally he literally meant he was gonna whoop my ass lol so I asked if he could let me grab my toothbrush and other stuff and he wouldn't so I left and got a call from my older brother who I hooked my "friend" up with to get a coding job he starting telling me that Homeland security was at his office asking about if my friend was also doing this stuff from my brothers office he then said no and confessed to everything and they literally let him go free for a week due to him bit being a flight risk they then took all of our electronics so that forensics could search them my next two months consisted of calling one of the agents and had bugged about getting my PC back because I knew I wasn't involved and I didn't want to lose all my beats and writing because of my best friends being a sick kid porn lover I also had all the John Lang home surveillance footage because I thought it was most intriguing and wanted a closer look but they never mentioned anything about the footage I had from his home when they finally let me pick up my PC. Long story short lol I lost my best "friend" to his sick ways then my little brother to drugs and a few years before my sister also and my dad when I was seven from coke and other things that led to his heart attack and now my mom is back to drinking herself to death not sure why I shared this information with u guys but I guess sometimes all u can do is talk ur way through things and express yourself my sister used to say why do u dwell on things from our childhood when I would bring them up but I would tell her it's not that I'm dwelling I just think it's crazy how trippy life had been from the time I was born till now I just laugh it off and move on it's important to remember the things that have happened to you and not dwell but take from these experiences and learn from them and not be sad about the way they have shaped ur life.
